This historic village of Bahadurgarh tehsil had been suffering from such a tragedy for the past few months that it broke the backbone of farmers. Scene of Destruction: When the Fields of Soldha Turned Into a Sea
Village sarpanch representative Pradeep Kajla, who himself served the nation in paramilitary forces for 8 years, says that the village had seen such devastation for the first time in his lifetime. About 200 to 250 acres of agricultural land had completely submerged under water. The condition became so terrible that due to rising underground water level, even residential houses came under danger.
Villagers knocked on every door for help. They say that they made rounds of the SDM, tehsildar, patwari, DC, and even the local MLA. After appealing for one to one-and-a-half months, the administration provided only a few pipes in the name of assistance, which proved insignificant before this massive flood. The year-long hard work of farmers was getting destroyed and the future appeared dark.

When hope from governance and administration ended, then the panchayat and youth of Soldha decided to place an application at the feet of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj. The experience of villagers was no less than a miracle. Where weeks had passed while making rounds of government offices, there in the court of Sant Ji, within only 24 to 48 hours after submitting their written pain once, a huge convoy of relief reached the doorstep of the village.
Seeing this help arriving without any recommendation and without any selfish motive, villagers became emotional. Farmers welcomed this assistance with more than a dozen decorated tractors and showered flowers throughout the route.

Farmers Hakeekat Singh and Rajendra Singh say that till now water has been removed from about 100 to 150 acres of land and wheat sowing has also been completed on more than 100 acres of land.
If direct calculation is applied, then according to ₹50,000 per acre, farmers received a direct benefit of ₹50 lakh only from the wheat crop. If this help had not been received on time, farmers would even have had to ask for grain to eat from other villages.

The words of ex-serviceman Pradeep Kajla have today become the voice of the entire village — “Only that weapon is good which works at the right time.” When Soldha was drowning, Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj came like an angel and protector. Today every elder and youth of the village believes that the real religion is the one dedicated to service of humanity without any discrimination and selfish motive.
