In the Beri tehsil of Jhajjar district, Haryana, lies the village of Dhaud, a place that carried a 48-year-old wound. This wasn’t a story of a recent flood that ruined a single season’s crop; it was a generational tragedy. Since 1977, approximately 500 to 700 acres of agricultural land in the village had been permanently submerged under water. Decades of waterlogging had turned the once-fertile fields into a barren, salt-crusted wasteland.
The farmers of Dhaud were caught in a cruel irony: they were owners of ancestral land, yet they were forced to work as daily wage laborers because their fields yielded nothing but stagnant, rotting water. Despite repeated pleas over the decades, the government and local administration failed to provide a permanent solution. The villagers had resigned themselves to their fate, believing the land was dead forever.
A Cry for Help and a Divine Response of Dhaud Village
In 2023, the region witnessed yet another devastating flood, exacerbating the already dire situation. Desperate and out of options, the Gram Panchayat of Dhaud decided to seek help from the Tatvdarshi Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj. They submitted an application to SATGURU Rampal Ji Maharaj, detailing their plight and requesting equipment to drain the water.

The response they received was nothing short of a miracle. Within just two to three days of their plea, a massive relief convoy arrived in Dhaud. The villagers, overwhelmed with joy, welcomed the convoy with dozens of tractors and the beating of dhol-nagadas (drums), celebrating it like a grand festival.
Satguru Rampal Ji Maharaj provided the village with a permanent solution:

- 6,500 Feet of 8-Inch Pipe: To channel the water far away from the agricultural lands.
- Two 15 HP Heavy-Duty Motors: Powerful machines capable of running relentlessly to pump out the stubborn water.
The Golden Harvest: Sowing After Decades
The powerful motors ran day and night, gradually forcing the 48-year-old stagnant water out of the village boundaries. The transformation that followed was historic. For the first time since 1995 (and in some areas, since 1977), the soil saw the light of day and was dry enough to be plowed.
The emotional impact on the villagers was profound. Pramod, a 30-year-old farmer, shared a chilling reality: “Since the day I was born, I had never seen this land being sown. I am seeing it for the very first time.” Today, the barren, salt-covered wasteland has been replaced by a lush green carpet of germinating wheat. Out of the 700 submerged acres, sowing has been successfully completed on the vast majority of the land.
”Guru Ji Gave Us God Gift”
The financial and emotional upliftment of the village is immeasurable. Farmers who had zero income from these lands are now looking forward to a bumper harvest.
- Sarpanch Satyanarayan expressed his immense gratitude, saying, “We brought the pipes and motors on a single application. The water is gone, the sowing is done, and the crop looks excellent. Guru Ji has done a phenomenal job, not just for us, but across Haryana.”
- Another farmer, Sachin, remarked, “We got a ‘God Gift’. Previously, there was 2 to 4 feet of water everywhere. The government washed its hands off the problem. But Maharaj Ji supported us, and today, there is a wave of immense happiness in the entire village. Our land is producing gold.”
A Legacy of Selfless Service
What the government and the system couldn’t solve in 48 years, the grace of a True Saint resolved in a matter of weeks. Satguru Rampal Ji Maharaj didn’t just give the village pipes and motors; He gave them back their dignity, their livelihood, and their future. The green fields of Dhaud stand today as a living testament to the power of selfless spiritual service.
As the village rejoices in its newfound prosperity, the slogan rings true across the fields: The one who stands by the poor in their darkest hour is the true savior.
