Girawar village in Rohtak, Haryana, is moving towards a more permanent drinking water arrangement. The drinking water arrangement in Girawar has been progressing in stages. Earlier, on the instructions of Tatvdarshi Rampal Ji Maharaj, around 7,000 feet of 8-inch pipeline was provided for the village. The pipeline was subsequently laid underground.
According to the information shared in the programme, a survey was also conducted after the pipeline was laid. With the requirement for two tube wells identified, a request was placed by the village for the necessary equipment.

The equipment included both major and minor accessories required for the two tube wells, so that the village would not have to arrange even small essential items separately.
Gram Panchayat Receives the Equipment
The complete material was formally handed over to the Gram Panchayat of Girawar. Village representatives, the sarpanch and other people associated with the handover were present during the programme. The sarpanch said the village had submitted a prayer regarding the drinking water supply and the requirement for two tube wells. He said that the earlier pipeline had already been laid and that the new equipment had subsequently been provided.
He also said that the assistance would benefit not only people but also animals, birds and other living beings that require drinking water. According to him, the village was happy with the arrangement and expected relief from its drinking water problem once the tube wells become operational.
District Councillor Recounts Her Request
Suman, a district councillor from Ward No. 12, said she had personally gone to Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj around five days earlier with a prayer and application regarding the motors required for the village. According to her, Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj had told her that the motors would reach the village within two to four days. She said the motors were provided on the fifth day.
She also said that she had earlier been involved in taking the pipeline request forward and that the pipeline had been provided before the motors. She described the assistance as addressing a drinking water requirement that, according to her, had not been resolved through the government arrangements mentioned by her.
Electricity Connection and Tube-Well Work
The village representatives also discussed the electricity-related procedure required for operating the tube wells. They stated that the connection process had been initiated and that the two tube wells were being brought near the canal area.
Once the tube wells are operational, the sweet drinking water supply would reach the village and eventually households. Residents and representatives said the availability of water would provide relief because drinking water is required by people as well as livestock and birds.
Assistance Under Kisan Mazdoor Bachao Abhiyan Phase 2
The Girawar assistance has been presented as part of the Kisan Mazdoor Bachao Abhiyan Phase 2, Shuddh Peyjal Seva Abhiyan and Pashudhan Bachao Shuddh Jal Pilao Abhiyan.
These initiatives have already been completed in more than 100 villages facing water-related difficulties. The stated approach is to work at the ground level rather than for public display.
Annapurna Campaign and the Drinking Water Arrangement
The programme also states that Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj has provided the drinking water assistance under His Annapurna campaign. In Girawar, this includes the two complete submersible sets required for the proposed tube wells.
