The same serious problem had existed for years in Girawad village of Jhajjar district, Haryana. Due to the lack of a proper system for draining rainwater, waterlogging occurred in the fields. This damaged crops and caused heavy losses to farmers.
To find a permanent solution to this serious problem, the village Gram Panchayat took a collective decision and presented a prayer at the feet of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj. This prayer was not only for assistance. It carried a deep hope for a permanent solution to the village’s long-standing problem.

Assistance was first provided to Girawad village under the Kisan Mazdoor Bachao Abhiyan.
In the first phase, the village was provided with 13,000 feet of 8-inch pipeline and three water drainage motors. The main objective of this assistance was to begin draining water from the major waterlogged areas of the village.
The villagers laid this pipeline underground according to the planned design. This work was completed through a collective effort in which the Gram Panchayat, farmers, and local people all participated.
After the success of the first phase, an improvement in the village’s water drainage situation became visible. However, some distant and newly affected areas still had a problem of accumulated water.
Steps Towards a Detailed and Permanent Solution
After the first phase, the Gram Panchayat again submitted a prayer before Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj.
This time, the scope of the problem was clearer because some additional fields were still affected by waterlogging. Considering this situation, the solution process was taken forward under Phase 2.
In the second phase, the village was provided with 28,000 feet of additional 8-inch pipeline.
This pipeline was provided to make the existing water drainage system stronger, wider, and more effective. The villagers also laid this pipeline underground according to the complete plan.
After the work was completed, the survey team conducted another inspection. During this inspection, a total of four water drainage lines were found to be completely correct according to the required standards. Based on this report, approval was given for further assistance.
Two 10 HP Motors and Technical Equipment Provided
After the survey report, on the orders of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj, two additional motors were provided to the village. These motors were 10 HP Crompton company high-capacity motors, suitable for water drainage on a large scale.
