Water Shortage in Village Ponds Led to Serious Difficulties

According to the information shared during the programme, Akalgarh village had been facing a severe shortage of water for livestock. The village’s two major ponds had dried up, while the remaining water had become so dirty that even animals could not sit in it.

Villagers said they had to travel several kilometres to arrange drinking water for their cattle. They also stated that the situation had become so difficult that many families had stopped livestock rearing because of the lack of water.

The Gram Panchayat identified the shortage of water in the ponds as the village’s most pressing concern and decided to seek assistance.

Sarpanch Kuldeep Singh said that the Gram Panchayat, along with respected villagers, visited Shri Dhanana Dham and submitted a prayer before Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj requesting support.

The Panchayat requested that the village ponds be connected with the Bhiwani Branch Canal so that canal water could reach both ponds and help resolve the water shortage for livestock.

During the survey, Panchayat representatives explained that nearly 9,000 feet of pipeline would be required for the project.

According to statements made during the programme, the findings were immediately conveyed to Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj, after which approval was granted.

Panchayat representatives said they were informed the same evening that the requirement had been approved and that the material would reach the village the following day.

Timely Assistance Brings Fresh Hope to the Village

The programme stated that the assistance received within 24 hours created a renewed sense of hope among the people of Akalgarh. Villagers said they expected the pipeline to help improve water availability in the village ponds for livestock once it is laid and connected.
