For years, the residents of Dhamtan Sahib village in Narwana tehsil, Jind district, Haryana, endured severe waterlogging. Rainwater combined with overflow from Nathwana Johar created hazardous conditions, inundating streets and encroaching upon homes. In the face of long-standing hardship, relief arrived when the village turned to Jagatguru Tatvdarshi Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj. Under His divine guidance and through Annapurna Muhim (Kisan Majdur Bachao Abhiyan) Phase 2, swift assistance was granted to eliminate the crisis permanently.
Existing Condition of the Village
Before the intervention, stagnant water severely affected 400 to 500 households across Dhamtan Sahib.
- Overflowing dirty water flooded streets, pathways and residential houses during the rainy season.
- Water accumulation near local landmarks, including the nearby Gurudwara, disrupted movement for residents and school-going children.
- The stagnant water posed severe health risks and created an unhealthy environment for humans and livestock alike.
- Villagers and animals suffered daily due to lack of proper drainage pathways.
Initial Survey and Guidance Provided
To ensure an exact and effective solution, a ground survey was conducted by a dedicated survey team under the order of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj.
- Using Google Maps along with physical measurements on-site, the team mapped the exact distance from Nathwana Johar to Bhoolan Minor.
- The survey determined the total pipeline distance to be 3.4 kilometers.
- Complete directions on how to install the motors and pipeline were clearly imparted to the village authorities.
- It was directed that after connecting the pipe joints, water must first be pumped through to check for any leaks; only after full verification should the pipeline be covered with soil.
- Complete technical accessories, including air valves, PVC pipes, PVC bands, iron plates, nuts, bolts, steel fittings and adhesive, were provided to ensure smooth installation.
Heartfelt Plea by Villagers
When the village Panchayat approached Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj seeking a permanent fix, their initial plea included 8,000 feet of 8-inch drainage pipe.
Help Given by Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj
Although the villagers initially asked for 8,000 feet, the survey revealed that 11,600 feet was required for the complete 3.4 km route to Bhoolan Minor. Showing boundless benevolence, Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj granted more than what was asked. Since the village already possessed a 10 HP motor, only the complete pipeline network and fittings were needed.
Under Annapurna Muhim (Kisan Majdur Bachao Abhiyan) Phase 2, the following materials were dispatched free of cost and as permanent support:
- 11,600 feet of high-quality 8-inch drainage pipes
- Air valves to ensure proper pressure regulation
- PVC pipes and PVC bends
- Adhesive solution from Fevicol and steel fittings
- Iron plates, nuts, bolts and full connection accessories

Grand Welcome by the Villagers
When the trucks carrying the relief pipeline arrived in Dhamtan Sahib, the villagers organized a warm and respectful welcome. Elders, Panchayat members and residents gathered in large numbers, showering flower petals and chanting praises in honour of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj. Local representatives honored Him with garlands and expressions of deep devotion, hailing His divine intervention.

- Sarpanch Chandi Ram stated: “Our village had severe mud and waterlogging and Bhagwan Rampal Maharaj Ji has pulled us out of this mud.”
- A village representative remarked: “After going to Dhanana, we felt that Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj is the only form of Supreme God on Earth. There is no VIP treatment to anyone, all are treated equally.”
- A local elder shared: “We submitted our plea to Maharaj Ji and He accepted it in a single moment. Today the materials have arrived.”
- A resident noted: “During rains, dirty water filled streets; cattle could not drink water and fell ill. Now with these pipes, proper drainage will happen.”

Additional Special Event: Support for Village Sanitation Workers
During the interactions, Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj also approved significant welfare support for the village’s six sanitation workers. He accepted a request to provide battery-operated rickshaws for all six workers, lifting their physical burden and ensuring better cleanliness throughout the village.
