Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj Resolves Jasaur Khedi Jhajjar Drainage Crisis In Phase 2

For the past 20 years, Jasaur Khedi village, located in Bahadurgarh tehsil of Jhajjar district, Haryana, experienced persistent seasonal waterlogging during rainy periods. Inability to drain rainwater from agricultural fields led to recurring crop destruction and hindered farming activities across approximately 250 acres of land.

Local farmers and village representatives had submitted formal applications and receipts to the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) in Bahadurgarh and the Deputy Commissioner (DC) office in 2025. 

Despite administrative site visits and transfers of officiating SDMs, no concrete infrastructure or relief measures were enacted by government departments, ministers, or Members of Legislative Assembly (MLAs). Consequently, affected farmers incurred severe financial losses annually due to damaged crops.

Formal Request by Gram Panchayat, Site Survey, and Engineering Assessment

To find a permanent resolution to the two-decade-long drainage failure, Gram Panchayat representatives and local residents submitted a formal written request to Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj at Satlok Ashram.

• Request Processing and Dispatch: Within less than seven days—delayed slightly due to the three-to-four-day Kabir Saheb Prakat Diwas annual congregation—Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj ordered a specialized survey team to assess Jasaur Khedi village.
• Field Inspection: The survey team inspected the inundated agricultural zone and identified four distinct drainage discharge points requiring pipe conduits to transport trapped rainwater to the main agricultural drain.
• Technical Scope and Sanctions: Based on the survey findings submitted to Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj, approval was granted for a total pipeline length of 10,200 feet (8-inch diameter) and four electric motors of 10 Horsepower (HP) each.

Materials Handover, Technical Components, and Operational Protocol

Following approval under the Kisan Mazdoor Bachao Abhiyan Phase 2, supply trucks carrying the sanctioned pipeline and hardware arrived directly in Jasaur Khedi village. 

Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj provided 10,200 feet of 8-inch PVC pipes alongside all necessary installation accessories to the Gram Panchayat.

• PVC Pipes: 10,200 feet of 8-inch diameter heavy-duty PVC pipe.

Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj approved four 10 HP water pumps manufactured by Crompton and Kirloskar. Under the official delivery policy, the Gram Panchayat is required to lay the 10,200 feet pipeline underground, fill it with water to test for leaks, and verify air valve placement. 

Upon notification by the Gram Panchayat, the survey team will perform a physical inspection. Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj directed that upon successful verification, the four 10 HP motors will be delivered and handed over to the Gram Panchayat on the following day.

Community Reception, On-Site Statements, and Implementation Steps

Upon the arrival of the material convoy, village elders, farmers, and Gram Panchayat members gathered at the village border to receive the equipment. The convoy included four traditional dhol players, village tractors, floral garlands, and the chanting of Mangalacharan. This delivery followed a similar relief distribution in the adjoining village of Khedi Jasaur.

• Jai Narayan (Pradhan/Sarpanch, Jasaur Khedi): Stated that the village lands had remained unusable for 20 years. He confirmed that within one week of submitting the request, Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj dispatched the survey team and approved 10,200 feet of piping to drain fields into the main canal.
• 76-Year-Old Village Resident: Noted that in his 76 years, no government agency or political leader had provided a practical solution for the village waterlogging, whereas Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj addressed the issue immediately without political motives.
• Karmveer (Local Farmer): Highlighted that government departments repeatedly promised engineering estimates without executing work on the ground. He stated that the delivery of piping will allow farmers to cultivate wheat crops, increasing yields and employment opportunities.
• Village Representative (Former Applicant to SDM): Confirmed that written submissions made in 2025 to the Bahadurgarh SDM and DC regarding 250 acres of flooded land resulted in no physical intervention. He verified receipt of all listed hardware accessories alongside the 10,200 feet of 8-inch pipes.

Permanent Drainage Infrastructure Secured for Jasaur Khedi Agriculture

Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj provided 10,200 feet of 8-inch PVC piping, accessories, and four 10 HP electric pumping units under Phase 2 of the Kisan Mazdoor Bachao Abhiyan, permanently resolving the 20-year waterlogging problem in Jasaur Khedi village. 

Once the underground pipeline installation and physical verification are completed by the Gram Panchayat and survey team, water evacuation across all four discharge points will clear flooded fields, protecting 250 acres of farm land and restoring seasonal agricultural operations in Jhajjar district.
