In the historic village of Badli, District Jhajjar (Haryana), the situation was dire. Heavy rains and waterlogging had submerged a vast area of the village, destroying crops and leaving farmers and laborers in utter despair. Villagers’ Plea to SATGURU Rampal Ji Maharaj
Social workers from the village, including Hava Singh and Satpal, along with the Panchayat, lost all hope from the system. They traveled to the Satlok Ashram to seek help from SATGURU Rampal Ji Maharaj. They presented a request for motors and pipes to drain the water, hoping for some assistance.
A Record-Breaking Relief Operation
What followed was nothing short of a miracle. SATGURU Rampal Ji Maharaj didn’t just send help; He sent a convoy of life. Within a very short time, a massive relief shipment reached Badli:
- 32,000 Feet of Pipe: Approximately 10 kilometers of pipeline to drain the water far away.
- 10 Heavy-Duty Motors: 5 Motors of 20 HP and 5 Motors of 15 HP.
- Complete Accessories: Starters, bends, and even adhesive (Fevicol) were provided so villagers wouldn’t have to spend a single rupee.
Grand Welcome with Tears of Gratitude
When the convoy of trucks loaded with pipes and motors entered Badli, it looked like a festival. The villagers welcomed the relief team with drums (dhol-nagada) and flower garlands.

The Village Sarpanch and elders were overwhelmed. To show their deepest respect, they presented a Pagdi (Turban) to the followers of Sant Rampal Ji, a symbol of surrendering their honor and gratitude to the Guru who saved them.

A village elder, Hava Singh, emotionally remarked:

The Sarpanch stated:
”We didn’t spend even 5 paise. We asked for help, and He sent us more than we could imagine. This is not just relief; it is a new life for our fields and families.”

Along with the relief, a strict message of discipline was conveyed:
- The aid must be used transparently to drain water immediately so the next crop can be sown.
- A drone survey was conducted to monitor the water levels and ensure the aid is effective.
