Such a crisis had been looming over the Sawai Gram Panchayat of Deeg district in Rajasthan for the last 20 years that had completely broken the backs of the farmers. About 600 bighas of fertile land in the village had turned into a massive dirty lake. Despite being the owners of their own land, the farmers were on the verge of starvation.
Two decades passed knocking on the doors of the administration and politicians, but they got nothing except false assurances. When the government system completely failed and the future of the farmers’ children began to sink into darkness, Tatvdarshi Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj changed both the picture and the destiny of this village.
600 Bighas of Land Remained a Dirty Lake for 20 Years
Expressing their pain, the Sarpanch and villagers of Sawai village stated that the most severe waterlogging problem in the entire Bharatpur and Deeg districts was in this very panchayat. Not a single grain had grown in these fields for the last 20 years.
The farmers were getting ruined in debt and helplessness. People had assumed that perhaps grains would never grow in their soil again. But when they saw the selfless service being done by Tatvdarshi Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj in the neighboring village of Behaj, a final hope awakened in their minds as well, and they submitted their request to the ashram.
A Massive Convoy of 6200 Feet Pipe Arrived in Just 3 Days
Work was done miraculously as soon as the request was placed in the court of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj. The villagers said that within just 3 to 4 days of submitting the application, a massive convoy of relief materials reached the streets of Sawai. This speed was not of any government file, but of the compassion of a true Saint.
Key Points: What Was Received in the Relief Material?

Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj provided an abundance of resources to pull the village out of this crisis. The following materials were handed over to the panchayat absolutely free of cost:
- A total of 6200 feet of pipe, which includes 3700 feet of 8-inch and 2500 feet of 6-inch pipe.
- Three massive 10 HP motors to pump out the water.
- 20 kg of Fevicol to join the pipes.
- Starters, 20-20 feet of cables, flexible pipes, air valves, nipples, foot valves, and all kinds of steel nuts and bolts.
- Considering the electricity problem in the village, the rent for the generator and the entire cost of the diesel poured into it were also provided by Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj.
Heard Our Call Even Faster Than Thakur Ji: Villagers Gave a Grand Welcome
Upon the arrival of the relief materials, the scene in Sawai village was like a grand festival. The farmers of the village took out a massive rally of dozens of tractors and gave a grand welcome to Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj’s convoy with the beating of drums. The mothers and sisters of the village offered flower garlands to the portrait of Sant Ji and bowed with folded hands.
An elderly villager emotionally said that even Thakur Ji takes time to listen, but Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj heard our call instantly. Just as Lord Krishna saved Braj from drowning, similarly Sant Ji has saved our village from drowning. To express their immense gratitude, the Gram Panchayat presented a turban to Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj.
Strict Rules and a True Example of Humanity
This relief material has been given to the Gram Panchayat permanently so that the problem of waterlogging never occurs in the future. However, the volunteers also read out a strict instruction to the panchayat on behalf of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj that the water must be drained out of the village at all costs and the next crop must be sown. If the materials are not used properly and the water is not pumped out, no help will be provided from the ashram in the future.
Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj’s slogan is, “Food, clothing, medical care, education, and shelter, Kabir God will give to every needy person”. Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj is selflessly serving humanity across the entire country with this very slogan. Today, instead of stagnant water in the fields of Sawai, a new glow of prosperity is visible on the faces of the farmers.
