Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj Provided Pipeline in Kasni, Jhajjar Under Phase 2

Kasni village, located in Salhawas (Salabad) tehsil of Jhajjar district in Haryana state, faced a severe waterlogging situation during the rainy season for the past 8 to 10 years. Every year during the monsoon, water accumulated up to 3 to 4 feet in the fields. Due to this waterlogging, approximately 400 acres of agricultural land became completely submerged and affected.

Major crops such as paddy, millet, sorghum, and wheat were destroyed every year after being submerged in water. The destruction of crops wasted all the money spent by farmers on seeds, fertilizers, labor, and tractor plowing. Farmers suffered a direct financial loss of ₹20,000 to ₹25,000 per acre. Because of prolonged water accumulation, crop yield dropped to just 5 to 10 maunds (also known as mann or mun) per acre (kila), whereas under normal conditions, the yield should be 50 to 60 maunds per acre.

To resolve the drainage issue, the Gram Panchayat and local farmers repeatedly visited the Irrigation Department. However, no permanent solution was provided by the government department. The department completed a mere formality by offering only one motor, which was insufficient to drain 400 acres of land.

Swift Action Taken by Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj Under Phase 2 of Kisan Mazdoor Bachao Abhiyan

When the waterlogging problem was not resolved at the government level, Gram Panchayat Kasni and local villagers submitted a request for help directly to Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj.

  • Request submitted on the 27th: The Sarpanch and villagers visited His ashram on the 27th, presented their problem, and requested a permanent drainage solution.
  • Ground survey on the 30th: Three days after receiving the request, on the 30th, Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj sent His survey team to Kasni village. The survey team inspected the affected 400 acres of farmland, waterlogged zones, and potential drainage routes.
  • Relief material distributed on the 1st: Upon receiving the survey report, Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj immediately granted approval and dispatched the complete consignment of relief material to Kasni village on the 1st. Within just four days of receiving the request, the entire process was completed and materials were delivered.

Complete Details of Approved and Delivered Relief Material

Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj provided the following materials to Gram Panchayat Kasni under Phase 2 of Kisan Mazdoor Bachao Abhiyan:

  • Pipeline: 5,600 feet long 8-inch PVC pipeline (covering a distance of approximately 30 acres/kila).
  • Electric Motors: 4 electric motors of 10 HP capacity approved for water drainage.
  • Accessories:
  • Air valves
  • PVC bends
  • Iron joint plates
  • PVC pipes
  • Fevicol / Fevicol SR
  • Gaskets / Jain
  • Nut-bolts
  • All other hardware tools required for joining pipes

Technical Plan and Geographical Points for Water Drainage

Based on the report prepared by the survey team, specific geographical points and technical parameters were established for water drainage in Kasni village:

  • Peepal wala Kua to Kasni Minor: A 5,600 feet long 8-inch pipeline is being laid from ‘Peepal wala Kua’ (Peepal wala fields) located near the village to Kasni Minor (located on the right side). Water will flow directly into Kasni Minor through this pipeline and then into Drain No. 8. This will relieve 100 acres near Peepal wala Kua and the entire affected area from waterlogging.
  • Parallel Motor Setup: The farmers and Gram Panchayat had already arranged a solar motor for the Peepal wala Kua pipeline.
  • Bhindawas Road and Kosli-Jhajjar Road Points: A 4.5-foot (4 ½ feet) wide concrete chamber (hodi) constructed by the Irrigation Department is located near Bhindawas Road and Kosli-Jhajjar Road, which is connected to Drain No. 8.
  • Location of Four 10 HP Motors: The need for four 10 HP motors was identified at four different drainage points to lift water from the lake area and waterlogged spots into the 4.5-foot line and Drain No. 8.

Instructions for Laying Pipeline and Process for Motor Transfer

Following instructions from Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj, the survey team provided specific technical directions to Gram Panchayat Kasni regarding pipeline installation:

  • Underground Pipeline Work: Gram Panchayat started underground pipeline installation work immediately upon receiving the materials, targeting completion within 2 to 3 days.
  • Mandatory Leakage Testing Rule: Instructions were given to run water through the pipeline to test all joints for leaks, install air valves properly, and only then cover the pipeline with soil.
  • Verification and Motor Handover: After the underground pipeline work is completed and Gram Panchayat informs the team, Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj will send His survey team to Kasni again. Immediately after the survey team verifies that the pipeline is properly installed, the four 10 HP motors will be handed over to Gram Panchayat Kasni under His orders.

Material Arrival in Village, Welcome Ceremony, and Statements from Representatives

When vehicles loaded with pipelines arrived at the boundary of Kasni village, villagers and the Gram Panchayat conducted a formal welcome ceremony:

  • Mangalacharan and Welcome: Mangalacharan was recited upon the arrival of relief materials. The Sarpanch and villagers welcomed and thanked Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj by presenting flower garlands.
  • Statement of the Sarpanch: The Sarpanch of Kasni stated that the village suffered from waterlogging for 8 to 10 years, leaving 400 acres unproductive. Government departments failed to act. Within just four days of submitting a request, Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj provided a 5,600 feet pipeline and 4 motors, permanently resolving the long-standing issue for farmers.
  • Statement of Villager Krishan Kumar: Krishan Kumar, a resident of Kasni, mentioned that 400 acres of land were submerged in floodwaters every year, reducing yield to 5 to 10 maunds. Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj saved farmers from financial ruin by extending His help.
  • Additional Social Service Work: The Sarpanch also shared that Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj provides free monthly ration supplies delivered directly to the house of a needy girl belonging to the Jogi community in Kasni village, and remains ever ready to help other helpless individuals in the village.
