After repeated appeals to the administration yielded no solution, the village panchayat submitted a written request for assistance. Within days, relief equipment including a motor and a long pipeline reached the village, raising hope among farmers that their fields could soon be cleared for the next crop cycle.

The villagers had submitted their request to Munindra Dharmarth Trust, the committee working under the guidance of Tatvdarshi Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj Ji and based in Barwala. The written application, signed by members of the Kakroi village panchayat, sought equipment that could help pump out the accumulated water from fields and discharge it into a nearby canal.

Flooding Leaves Farmers in Kakroi in Distress

Kakroi village in Sonipat district witnessed a difficult agricultural season as heavy rainfall led to extensive waterlogging in farmland. According to villagers, water had accumulated up to 4–5 feet deep in several fields, making it impossible to cultivate crops.

The paddy crop had already been ruined, and farmers feared that the upcoming wheat sowing would also fail if the water remained. Apart from crop losses, the situation also created concerns about public health, as overflowing village ponds began entering residential areas.

Sarpanch Karmveer Singh, a retired soldier from the Indian Army, explained that the village had repeatedly approached authorities seeking a solution. However, despite multiple appeals, the farmers could not find any practical way to drain the water.

The inability to remove the water not only threatened agricultural livelihoods but also affected the entire rural economy, as farm labourers and other workers depend on agricultural activity for income.

Panchayat Submits Request Through Munindra Dharmarth Trust

Facing mounting losses, the Gram Panchayat of Kakroi decided to seek assistance of Tatvdarshi Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj.

The panchayat submitted a written application signed by village representatives, requesting equipment that could help remove the water from fields. The application specifically asked for:

  • A motor to pump water
  • A pipeline approximately 2010 feet long to carry water away from the fields

The intention was to channel the stagnant water directly into a nearby canal, which could serve as a drainage outlet for the flooded farmland.

Relief Equipment Delivered Within Days

According to villagers and the relief team present at the site, the request was processed quickly and the required equipment was delivered to Kakroi village within a short period.

The relief set included:

EquipmentDetails
MotorApproximately 7–7.5 horsepower
PipelineAround 2010 feet, with an 8-inch diameter
AccessoriesStarter, electrical cables, fittings, nuts and bolts

Volunteers accompanying the relief materials clarified that the equipment had been supplied as a complete operational set. This meant the village panchayat would not have to purchase even a small component separately.

Because the canal runs close to Kakroi village, the system was designed so that water from the fields could be pumped directly into the canal, enabling faster drainage.

Villagers Express Relief and Hope

When the relief convoy reached the village, residents described the atmosphere as similar to a festival. Many villagers gathered at the panchayat area where the equipment was handed over.

Sarpanch Karmveer Singh thanked the visiting volunteers and expressed hope that the solution would help remove the standing water from agricultural land.

He said the village had been waiting for a way to drain the flooded fields so that wheat sowing could begin in time.

Another villager, Satpal Singh, a retired army serviceman, said that water had remained in the fields for many days and that without drainage the next crop would also fail. He expressed hope that the new equipment would allow farmers to pump out the water and restore cultivation.

Elderly Resident Recalls Earlier Floods

A 72-year-old villager shared his experience of earlier floods, including the one in 1995. According to him, floods have caused losses in the past as well, but he had not witnessed similar assistance before.

He explained that when farming collapses due to flooding, the impact spreads across the rural economy. Farmers lose crops, labourers lose employment, and the local economy slows down.

The elderly resident said that if the water is removed in time, farmers would still be able to prepare their fields and sow the next crop.

Equipment Handed Over to Panchayat

During the event, volunteers formally handed over the motor and pipeline to the Gram Panchayat of Kakroi. The panchayat confirmed that the materials matched the request submitted earlier.

Sarpanch Karmveer Singh acknowledged receiving the equipment and stated that the village would begin the process of draining water from fields.

Villagers also presented a ceremonial turban as a mark of respect for Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj Ji. A small customary token amount was offered along with the turban according to local tradition. Volunteers thanked the villagers for the gesture and explained the customary practice associated with such offerings.

Relief Efforts Linked to Wider Service Activities

During the event, volunteers mentioned that assistance had been extended to more than 400 villages affected by flooding. The relief efforts focused on practical solutions such as pumps and pipelines so that farmers could remove water from their fields and resume agricultural activity.

The broader effort has been carried out by Tatvdarshi Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj Ji under the Annapurna Muhim, aimed at supporting farmers so that crop cultivation can continue despite natural disasters.

Villagers said that if the water is drained successfully, Kakroi’s fields would soon be ready for wheat sowing and agricultural activity could return to normal.

The Divine Command of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj

According to the sacred directive of Jagatguru Tatvdarshi Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj, every village that has received assistance must ensure that the relief materials provided, such as motors and pipelines are used effectively so that no farmer’s field remains flooded and the next crop can be sown on time. His order clearly states that even if more materials are needed, they should be requested without hesitation, but under no circumstance should water remain stagnant.

He has blessed the villagers, saying that this aid must become a permanent solution for their suffering, a gift from Supreme God Kabir Ji through His grace. He also instructed that if the given resources are not utilized properly and the water is not drained, future assistance will be withheld. Through this directive, Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj Ji emphasized that real devotion is reflected through timely service, discipline, and accountability towards humanity.
