Village Faced Long-Standing Pond Water Problem
According to the villagers, the village pond had remained filled with dirty and marshy water for nearly 20 to 25 years. As a result, livestock did not have access to clean drinking water, creating difficulties for families that depended largely on agriculture and animal husbandry.
The Gram Panchayat identified two major challenges:
- Draining the accumulated dirty water from the pond.
- Bringing clean canal water into the pond.
The Panchayat stated that canal water was released only for a limited period, but the absence of a pipeline prevented the village from making use of it.
Repeated Efforts Did Not Bring a Permanent Solution
Village representatives said they had approached various government offices and departments and had also visited Chandigarh several times in search of a solution. However, according to the Panchayat members, the long-pending issue remained unresolved.
The Panchayat later came to know about the social initiatives being carried out by Tatvdarshi Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj and decided to present the village’s request before Him.
Survey Team Reached the Village Immediately
After hearing the request, Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj directed a survey team to visit the village immediately.
According to the Sarpanch and Panchayat members, while they were still returning from the Ashram, they received information that the survey team had already been dispatched.
The same day, the team conducted:
- Drone survey
- Technical inspection
- Ground assessment of the pond area
The survey concluded that the village required:
| Survey Assessment | Requirement |
| Pipeline | Approximately 6,000 feet of 8-inch pipeline |
| Motors | Two 10 HP motors |
The survey report was then presented before Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj, following which the service was approved.
Villagers Explained the Need for Two Motors

During the survey, village representatives explained that one motor would be used to remove the dirty water from the existing pond, while the second motor would be installed near the canal to bring clean water into the village pond.

They also informed the survey team that an existing 4-inch pipeline connected another Panchayat pond near Badli Road, requiring only a motor for drainage. They clarified that dirty water would not be discharged into agricultural fields or the canal.
Relief Material Reached the Village the Next Day
Following approval, relief material reached Bajidpur Tappa Haveli the very next day under the Kisan Mazdoor Bachao Abhiyan – Phase II.
The material handed over to the Gram Panchayat included:
- 6,000 feet of pipeline
- Fevicol
- Air valves
- Nuts and bolts
- Pipeline fittings and related accessories
According to the villagers, the pipeline would be used to bring clean canal water to the pond, while the second arrangement would help remove the dirty water, providing dual benefits for the village.
Villagers Described the Response as Exceptionally Fast
Sarpanch Anand said this was his first visit to the Ashram. He explained that volunteers guided them through the application process, after which they had darshan and received prasad.
He stated that while they were returning home, they received a phone call seeking the village location for the survey team. Later that day, the survey was completed, and by evening they were informed that the proposal had been approved.

Villagers also said that pipeline material reached the village the following morning, describing it as the fastest response they had experienced for a public issue.
Gram Panchayat Expressed Satisfaction With the Survey
The Sarpanch stated that the survey accurately reflected the village’s actual requirement. He reiterated that the request had been made entirely for a community issue related to livestock and public welfare, rather than for any personal benefit.
A representative associated with the survey process also confirmed that the Panchayat had initially requested 6,600 feet of pipeline and two 10 HP motors, while the technical survey determined the requirement to be 6,000 feet of 8-inch pipeline and two 10 HP motors.
Motors to Be Provided After Pipeline Installation
During the handover, the Gram Panchayat was informed that all pipeline-related materials had been supplied.
The representatives explained that once the underground pipeline installation was completed, the village should inform the team. Another survey would then be conducted, after which the two 10 HP motors would be provided as per the approved process.
The Sarpanch stated that the Panchayat planned to begin laying the underground pipeline with the help of labour and machinery and expected the work to be completed within a few days.
Villagers Said the Initiative Brought Hope Along With Infrastructure
Villagers said the arrival of the material created an atmosphere of happiness across the village. They described the development as an important step for livestock welfare and the future of the village.
According to the villagers, the support marked the beginning of resolving a problem that had affected the community for many years. They said timely action not only helps address infrastructure challenges but also brings renewed confidence to rural communities.
A New Beginning for the Village
The work of laying the underground pipeline given by Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj will now be completed by the Gram Panchayat. After the prescribed process is completed, the approved motors are expected to be provided. Villagers believe this initiative has started the process of improving clean water availability for their pond and livestock after years of waiting.
