Madina village of Rohtak district is not an ordinary village. This area with a population of about 20,000 had been struggling with the serious problem of waterlogging for the past 30 years. The fertile land here, which was once the basis of life for farmers, was gradually becoming barren after being covered with foul-smelling black water and moss.
Farmers were watching their ancestral land getting destroyed before their eyes. Due to continuous waterlogging for years, farming had become almost impossible. There used to be 2.5 to 5 feet water filled in the fields and the condition had become so bad that people’s hopes also started breaking.
In this difficult time, the service carried out under the guidance of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj and as per His orders emerged as a new hope for the village. This was not only the work of water drainage, but an effort to give life again to a village that had been struggling for decades.
When the System Left Support, a Permanent Solution Was Found
The problem of Madina village was extremely serious. More than about 1000 acres of land was affected by waterlogging. Farmers’ crops were continuously getting damaged and the productivity of the land had also been affected.
Earlier also, assistance had been provided to the village as per the orders of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj, under which 9000 feet pipes and two motors were made available. But the condition of waterlogging was so widespread that the need for additional resources was felt.
The sarpanch of the village prayed again. Villagers thought that perhaps assistance would be received after a long process or investigation, but Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj understood their condition and immediately ordered to send the second convoy of relief.
This time 7000 feet additional pipes and two more powerful 15 HP motors were sent for the village. After this, a total of 16,000 feet pipeline and four large motors started working day and night in the village.
Detailed Description of Relief Material
Under the guidance of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj and as per His orders, the following assistance was provided to Madina village:
| Serial Number | Material | Details |
| 1 | Total pipeline | 16,000 feet |
| 2 | Powerful motors | 4 motors (each 15 HP) |
| 3 | Fitting material | Nut-bolts and complete fitting material |
| 4 | Affected area | More than 1000 acres submerged land |
This assistance was not only for temporary relief, but was provided with the purpose of preparing a systematic and effective arrangement for water drainage.
“The Farmer Was on the Verge of Dying” — In the Words of Villagers
The area around Ganesh temple was once counted among the most affected areas. Rotten water 5 feet deep remained accumulated there for years. Today that same area is echoing with the sound of tractors.
Village residents Rajesh and priest Ram Ratan Pandit say that the condition had become so bad that farmers did not even have grain left to eat. Fodder for animals had finished and the burden of debt was continuously increasing.
According to villagers, the machines and pipelines sent as per the orders of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj accomplished within a few weeks what was not expected for years.
The Picture of the Village Changed in a Short Time
Sarpanch Jag Raja Sharma emotionally says that the work which could not be done for years became possible within a short time under the guidance of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj.
Today water has been drained from about 100% land of the village and wheat sowing has been successfully completed in more than 90% fields. Where earlier a sea-like scene was visible, now greenery has started returning in the fields.
This transformation is not limited only to farming, but has also brought new energy and self-confidence in the lives of village people.
Service Continuing Not Only in Madina but in Many States
Villagers say that Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj is helping not only Madina village, but also flood-affected people in many areas including Haryana, Punjab, and Rajasthan.
This service running under the guidance of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj and as per His orders is working selflessly in the interest of humanity. The clear objective of His sevadars was:
“No matter how much material is required, the village water must be drained.”
Due to this spirit of service, Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj was also honored with the “Humanity Protector” award at the historic platform of Meham Chaubisi.
A True Example of Humanity
This story of Madina village is not only the story of flood relief. It is an example of that spirit of service where immediate assistance was provided after seeing the pain of a needy person.
This assistance carried out under the guidance of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj and as per His orders not only gave economic relief to farmers, but also gave them confidence that humanity is still alive in difficult times.
Today every house, every farmer, and every elder of Madina village is grateful for that assistance which gave a new life to the village suffering from waterlogging for 30 years.
Where once there was foul smell, dirt, and despair, today greenery is returning again in the fields. This transformation is proof that when service is done selflessly, it not only solves problems, but changes the future of the entire society.
