Apple Introduces Mac mini With M6 and M5 Pro
Apple announced the new Mac mini on August 25, 2026, expanding its desktop lineup with two chip options: the all-new M6 and the more powerful M5 Pro. Mac Studio Also Gets New Configurations

Environmental Features and Apple Services
Apple says the new Mac mini contains 50 percent recycled material overall, including 100 percent recycled aluminium in its enclosure and 100 percent recycled rare earth elements in its magnets. Electricity used to manufacture the Mac mini is sourced from renewable energy across the supply chain, while Apple says it has invested in renewable energy to match the electricity customers use to power the product.
Its paper packaging is 100 percent fibre-based and recyclable at home. Apple says the product supports its goal of becoming carbon neutral across its entire footprint by 2030.
