A few months earlier, the same venue hosted a large gathering attended by representatives from more than 100 Gram Panchayats and various Khaps to honor the farmer welfare initiatives, Annapurna campaign, and humanitarian efforts of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj. During the event, villagers and Satgama Khap representatives requested the construction of a main gate to secure the park.
Accepting their request, Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj arranged for the construction of a large and durable iron gate within a short period and dedicated it to the Gram Panchayat and Satgama Khap. Villagers now say that the gate is not just an entrance but a symbol of the village’s dignity and security.
Park Remained Open for Years, Suffered Damage from Stray Animals
Village elders explained that Satgama Khap Chabutra Park had remained without a main gate for many years. As a result, stray cattle, buffaloes, bulls, donkeys, and other animals freely entered the premises, damaging trees, plants, flowers, and greenery. Maintaining cleanliness also became increasingly difficult.
Although villagers made repeated efforts to solve the problem, no permanent solution was found. When the issue was raised during the felicitation program for Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj, he immediately agreed to help. Within just a few days, a strong iron gate was completed, featuring one large central entrance along with smaller side gates to ensure convenient access.
Inauguration Ceremony Became a Symbol of Unity and Pride
After the completion of the gate, a special inauguration ceremony was organized in Baland village. The event began with traditional prayers, followed by floral tributes offered to the portrait of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj by members of Satgama Khap, the Gram Panchayat, and village dignitaries.
The ceremonial handover of the gate keys to the Gram Panchayat and Satgama Khap marked the official inauguration. As the gate opened, the atmosphere echoed with celebratory slogans, and villagers described the occasion as a proud milestone for the entire community.
“Such Respect Has Come for the First Time in Five Generations,” Say Villagers
Senior citizen and former soldier Dilbag Singh became emotional while sharing his thoughts:
“For generations, we have wished for this Chabutra to have a proper entrance that would give it a distinct identity. No one paid attention to our request. Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj listened to us and fulfilled our dream in a very short time. Now the park will remain secure and will have a proper identity.”
He added that children, senior citizens, and all villagers would now have a safer and more beautiful place to gather.
Villagers Say Trees and Park Property Will Now Be Protected
Several villagers pointed out that stray animals previously entered the park and damaged trees and plants. With the installation of the new gate, unauthorized entry can now be prevented.
Villager Naresh Das said that animals frequently entered the park earlier, damaging trees and plants. With the gate now in place, the park can remain locked and protected, and proper maintenance will become much easier.
Satgama Khap Representatives Express Gratitude
Representatives of Satgama Khap stated that the gate is much more than an iron structure—it symbolizes the dignity and pride of the entire community. They expressed hope that further development projects would transform the site into an important center for community meetings, social gatherings, and brotherhood. They also envisioned the future construction of a community hall to provide additional facilities for villagers.
Villagers Also Highlighted Other Welfare Initiatives of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj
During the event, many villagers mentioned that this was not the first time Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj had contributed to public welfare. They referred to initiatives such as installing RO water plants, improving school facilities, building homes for underprivileged families, providing irrigation materials to farmers, offering medical assistance, distributing ration supplies, and supporting various social welfare programs.
According to villagers, these efforts have consistently reached those in need and strengthened trust and cooperation within society.
More Than Construction—An Example of Social Responsibility
Residents emphasized that village development cannot depend solely on government schemes; community participation is equally important. They believe that when organizations or individuals understand genuine local needs and provide practical solutions, the impact lasts for generations.
The construction of the main gate has also inspired villagers to take greater responsibility for maintaining and protecting the park.
Throughout the ceremony, nearly every speaker acknowledged the service-oriented initiatives of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj. Villagers noted that his contributions extend beyond spiritual guidance to include humanitarian work such as farmer assistance, housing support, ration distribution, medical aid, educational initiatives, and infrastructure development in rural areas. Many described these efforts as a source of hope for countless families.
Strengthening Brotherhood and the Spirit of Service
The event brought together villagers of all ages, including elders, youth, women, and children, who celebrated it as a festival of development and unity. According to residents, collective efforts toward positive causes benefit not only the present generation but also those to come.
Today, Satgama Khap Chabutra Park appears safer, more organized, and more attractive than ever before.
When Society Stands Together, Transformation Becomes Possible
The story of Baland village is about much more than the construction of a main gate. It reflects the power of listening to community needs and responding with meaningful action. Today, the grand entrance of Satgama Khap Chabutra Park stands as a symbol of security, dignity, and communal harmony.
The smiles and gratitude expressed by villagers demonstrate that even relatively small public welfare initiatives can bring lasting positive change.
When Society’s Voice Is Heard, Service Builds More Than Structures—It Builds Hope
The newly constructed main gate in Baland village by Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj is not merely a structure of iron and concrete; it has become a living symbol of service, cooperation, and community spirit. When a long-pending need of a village is fulfilled, it not only completes a construction project but also strengthens people’s faith in collective action.
