After about one to one and a half months of continuous effort, water was drained from most of the fields. This gave relief to farmers and they got the opportunity to start farming again.

Many farmers of the village said that during the flood their situation had become extremely difficult. Water had entered some houses and many families had to temporarily live at other places.
