The story of Talakour village in Yamunanagar district of Haryana is not an ordinary one. It is the story of a 60-year-old disease of waterlogging that ruined nearly 150 acres of agricultural land every year. Many farmers in the village had only a single acre of land, and even that would remain completely submerged. Whether it was millet or wheat, the crop would be destroyed while still standing, year after year.

The villagers knocked on every possible door for years. The sarpanches repeatedly informed governments, administrative officers and MLAs, but every time they received only assurances. They were told the process was long, files kept getting pushed forward. The villagers had a simple argument “Government procedures take 1 to 1.5 years, but a farmer has to sow his crop in just one month.”
When they returned hopeless from government corridors, the village decided to send a prayer application to Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj at the Barwala Trust Office, 200 km away, as their last hope.
The Village Panchayat’s Request: 6,500 Ft of Pipe and Two Motors
The Panchayat of Talakour, Block Saraswati Nagar, District Yamunanagar, prepared a formal application on the village letterhead with unanimous consent. It clearly mentioned:
• 6,500 ft of 8-inch pipeline
• Two 10 HP motor.
And the complete setup required with them
All panches and the sarpanch went to the trust office personally to submit this request. The villagers said, “We submitted letterheads everywhere, but no one valued them. Here, our letterhead was seen as the helplessness of the village.”

A Miracle in Just Six Days: Lakhs Worth of Material Reached the Village
What governments would take one-and-a-half to two years to do was completed in just six days.
Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj sent:
• 6,500 ft of 8-inch pipe
• Two 10 HP motors
• Two starters
• And every required item from each nut-bolt to rubber chain
Villagers were astonished: “Bhagat ji told us that we won’t have to buy even a single nut from outside… and truly, we didn’t need even one.”
This was not just assistance; it was a silent comment on the systems that ignored the village’s suffering for decades.
As the trucks loaded with pipes and motors entered the village, children clapped in excitement and women sighed in relief. Some eyes carried the pain of decades; others carried regret “If only this help had arrived during our fathers’ or husbands’ time.”

Even the sarpanch’s voice choked as he said, “We had lost all hope… but today it feels like, for the first time in 60 years, light has entered the village.”
Flood Devastation: Drone Footage Revealed the Destruction
When sewadars surveyed the village with a drone, the visuals were heart-wrenching. Water everywhere, fields filled with 1.5 feet of standing water, millet destroyed entirely, and no chance of sowing wheat. Some farmers had not been able to grow a crop for several consecutive years. Many families had half an acre completely submerged and had to buy food grains from the market.
Emotional Response From the Sarpanch and Villagers
When the material reached the village, sarpanch Sandeep Kumar said emotionally: “When we move a proposal in the Panchayat, it takes 1–2 years. But here, trucks full of material arrived on the sixth day. I am shocked; I can’t believe such things happen.”

Elderly farmers added, “We’ve had this disease for 30–60 years. Today, Sant Rampal Ji ended it in a single stroke. For us, He is nothing less than God.”
The village has Hindus, Muslims and Sikhs. Everyone said in one voice, “Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj did not see religion, he saw pain.”
Mission of the Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj: Reaching Every Single Village
Sewadars revealed that more than 300 villages across the country have already received flood relief covering Rajasthan, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, and Gujarat. Relief is continuously being delivered.
Sant Rampal Ji’s clear order is: “No show-off. Work on the ground. The farmer’s next crop must be saved at any cost.”
A Strict and Important Advisory for the Villagers
Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj also gave a special letter to the villagers stating:
- The material is permanent and belongs to the village forever.
- If the water is not drained on time and the crop is not sown, there will be no further help.
- Three videos will be made, one during the flood, one after the water is drained, and one when the crop flourishes.
This is a unique example of transparency, ensuring every donor knows where their contribution has been used. Sant Rampal Ji also said that more materials will be provided if needed but the next sowing must happen on time.
Construction Halted Nationwide; Relief Made Top Priority
Sant Rampal Ji ordered, “All construction work at over 500 Naamdaan centres and ashrams across the country must stop immediately. All funds and all sewadars should be dedicated to flood relief.”
As soon as this order came, sewadars rejoiced. For them, this was not a burden but a blessing for the opportunity to serve. According to the villagers, “Sant Rampal Ji is no ordinary saint. He is extraordinarily powerful and all-capable. Only the Supreme God, full of infinite compassion, could do this.”
Permanent Solution: The Village Will Never Face Waterlogging Again
The pipelines will be permanently installed underground, so that whenever it rains, villagers can instantly pump out the water.
The villagers said, “Governments take the equipment back once the water is gone. But here, we’ve been given a permanent solution. This problem is now finished forever.”
The Village’s Gratitude and Honor: A Pagdi Offered
The Panchayat presented a traditional pagdi cloth in honor of Sant Rampal Ji, to be offered at the ashram. The sarpanch said, “This is not just a pagdi; it is our tribute to the end of centuries-old suffering.”
Many farmers said, “We ran generators for four months at a time, but water never drained. Our crops were destroyed twice every year. Some of us even had to buy food grains. Only God could have done what has happened today.”
One farmer even said, “The government is no longer our government. Our government is Sant Rampal Ji.”
This Is Not Merely Relief, It Is a New Definition of Change
A 60-year problem was solved in six days. 150 acres of barren land will soon become fertile again. When this land yields crops, it will contribute to the nation. Farmers do not grow grain only for themselves they feed the nation.
When the villagers were defeated from all sides, they went to Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj, and that divine saint didn’t even ask who was making the plea. He simply heard that the farmers of this country were suffering and He gave everything they asked for. Hundreds of families are getting their livelihood back.
