These days, the village of Kiloi in Haryana’s Rohtak district is not only being discussed for sports or basketball tournaments, but also for an inspiring example of service and social welfare that has changed the atmosphere of the entire region. Shivkumar Memorial Stadium, where players from across the country arrive every year to participate in the All India Basketball Tournament, had long suffered from a severe lack of basic facilities. Players often faced difficulties related to accommodation, food, toilets, and bathing arrangements.

But now the picture has completely changed. Under the blessings and inspiration of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj, the stadium has undergone such a remarkable transformation that villagers and players alike are feeling emotional and grateful. Within just one and a half months, a new hall, veranda, kitchen, store room, 12 new toilets, 12 bathrooms, and renovation of old washrooms were completed.
Today, Shivkumar Memorial Stadium is not only equipped with new infrastructure, but it also reflects satisfaction, happiness, and pride in the eyes of the people.
A Famous Stadium Struggling with Years-Old Problems
Shivkumar Memorial Stadium is not an ordinary sports ground. It is considered the pride of Kiloi village. Many players from this village have gone on to join the Army, Railways, Police, and national-level teams. Locals proudly call it the “nursery of basketball.”
Despite its reputation, the condition of the stadium was extremely poor. There were not enough bathrooms for players, old toilets were damaged, and visiting teams often had to stay in Rohtak city due to a lack of facilities. The village committee repeatedly approached authorities and officials for help, but they received only assurances.
Coach and Treasurer Vijender Hooda shared:
“For the last three to four years, we have been organizing All India tournaments here. Big teams from across the country, including Air Force, Navy, Railways, and Army teams, come here. But the biggest issue was the lack of proper toilets and bathrooms. Players faced great inconvenience, and sometimes it became embarrassing for us.”
He further added:
“We even sought government assistance, but nothing happened. Finally, we appealed to Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj, and the work that could not happen in years was completed within one and a half months.”
A New Complex Completed in Just One and a Half Months
According to villagers, everyone was surprised by the speed at which the work was completed. Under normal circumstances, such a large construction project could have taken several months. But under the guidance and blessings of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj, the work was completed in a remarkably short time through continuous day-and-night efforts.
The stadium now has a large hall with a veranda in front, a modern kitchen behind it, a store room, newly built bathrooms and toilets, along with repairs to the old damaged facilities.
An emotional village elder, Ramkaran, said:
“We never imagined such excellent work would happen here. We have rarely seen such a hall, kitchen, and bathrooms even in big cities. This is a huge gift for the children of our village.”
Another villager remarked:
“We had made only a small request, but Guruji gave us far more than we expected.”
Better Facilities for Players from Across the Country
Every year, this stadium hosts a national-level basketball tournament, making proper facilities essential for visiting players. Earlier, athletes faced numerous challenges during their stay.
Coach Vijender Hooda explained:
“During tournaments, hundreds of players come here, and around 200 players practice here throughout the year. Earlier, the condition of the bathrooms was so poor that we ourselves hesitated to ask anyone to stay here. But now everything has changed.”
He also praised the quality of the construction:
“The person installing the air conditioner said he had not seen such strong walls in the last 20 years. That itself shows the quality of the material used.”
Now, accommodation, dining, and meeting facilities are available within the same premises, which is expected to improve the standard of future tournaments.
Service Beyond Construction: Annual Community Feasts
Villagers also shared that for several years, Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj has been arranging large community meals during the All India Tournament. Proper food arrangements are made for players and local residents alike.
Coach Vijender Hooda said:
“We had only requested food arrangements for the players. But Guruji took responsibility for feeding everyone for three days every year. Community feasts are also organized for nearby villages.”
Villagers believe this service is not done for publicity, but purely for social welfare.
Villagers Filled with Gratitude and Happiness
When the completed building was handed over to the village committee, many people present became emotional. Elders, players, panchayat members, and villagers were all seen expressing gratitude toward Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj.
Jagbir Fauji said:
“Constructing such a beautiful building in such a short time is not an easy task. The villagers are extremely happy. Earlier, players faced many problems, but now they can focus entirely on their game. We saw people working day and night with complete dedication to complete this project.”
Committee members also admitted that if they had attempted the project themselves, it might have taken years.
Construction Focused on the Future of Young Players
Volunteers explained that this project was not viewed merely as building infrastructure, but as an investment in the future of children and athletes.
One volunteer stated:
“This village is known as a nursery of basketball. Players from here represent the nation. That is why Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj connected this effort with social welfare initiatives and provided better facilities for athletes.”
He further explained that high-quality materials, strong door frames, proper ventilation, and durable construction techniques were used to ensure that players would not face difficulties for many years.
A Spirit of Service That Touched Hearts
One sentence was repeatedly heard in villagers’ conversations:
“Such selfless service is rarely seen.”
Many villagers said that Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj is not limited to spiritual teachings alone, but also actively works for social welfare. From building homes for the needy and libraries for students to helping farmers and athletes, various initiatives are being carried out.
One elderly villager emotionally said:
“When no one was listening to us, Guruji understood our problem. This is not just construction work; it is work that wins people’s hearts.”
Villagers believe this initiative has created a new positive mindset in the village. Parents are now encouraging their children to participate more actively in sports because better facilities are available.
Kiloi Stadium Becomes a Topic of Discussion Across the Region
Today, this transformed stadium in Kiloi has become a major topic of discussion in nearby villages. People are visiting to see the newly constructed hall, kitchen, bathrooms, and other facilities. Many villagers remarked that they have rarely seen such quality construction even in larger cities.
People believe that this support from Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj has not only transformed a stadium but also boosted the morale of the entire area. Bigger tournaments are now expected to be hosted here, giving players a better environment and strengthening the village’s identity nationwide.
From Broken Walls to Renewed Hope
The story of Kiloi village is not merely about the reconstruction of a stadium. It is a story of hope that emerges when someone stands selflessly with society. It is the story of smiling athletes who now have dignified facilities, and of elderly villagers whose long-pending demands were finally fulfilled.
When society and systems ignore a problem for years, people begin to lose faith. But the service carried out here under the inspiration of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj sends a powerful message — when compassionate and welfare-oriented saints like Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj work for society, even impossible-looking tasks can become possible in a very short time.
Today, the new walls of Shivkumar Memorial Stadium are not built only with bricks and cement, but also with the hopes of villagers, the dreams of players, and the spirit of service. And perhaps that is why the people of Kiloi village are saying with pride:
“This is not just the renovation of a stadium by Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj — it is the birth of a new hope.”
