In Patwapur village of Rohtak district, the flood that came turned the life of farmers upside down. About 400 acres of land remained submerged in water, due to which the entire paddy crop was ruined. Many farmers even sowed paddy two times, but due to drowning in water nothing survived. Water had filled even in the streets of the village, schools were closed and the danger of mosquitoes and dengue was continuously increasing. The loss of farmers was so big that even the next wheat sowing seemed impossible.
The Panchayat that went to ask for help from the government was sent back either with broken motors, wrong pipes, or the excuse of electricity connection. The pain of the farmers was — “The government does not think about the farmer at all.” In this disappointment the Patwapur Panchayat decided to send a prayer to Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj. Their belief was that where every door has closed, from there the path of relief will open only from Him.
Villagers Reached Carrying the Prayer
Patwapur Panchayat reached Barwala Ashram. The Sarpanch representative of the village, Sunil Dhol, told there that more than three feet of water is filled in the fields, the paddy crop has been destroyed and sowing wheat is not possible.
He presented the formal prayer of 2 motors (10 HP) and 4400 feet pipeline at the feet of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj. The volunteers assured that as soon as Gurudev’s order comes, all the materials will be delivered to Patwapur.
Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj Sent Complete Materials
In just a few days a long convoy of vehicles appeared on the borders of the village. The eyes of the villagers, filled with surprise and emotion, became moist. Under the Annapurna Muhim, Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj sent to Patwapur village:
- 2 heavy-duty 10 HP motors
- 4400 feet 8-inch pipeline
- Starter, cable, plate, nut-bolt, football band
- Complete materials for motor operation and fitting

The farmers said —
“The government did not provide any funds over the years, and in this case, not a single rupee was required. One prayer was given and all the material reached the house.”
What villagers said about the Annapurna Muhim
From every corner of the village one voice was coming:
“These are the incarnation of God. We have not seen such a virtuous work in life.”
Former Sarpanch Rakesh Kumar said —
“Material worth lakhs has reached in one moment. Without taking even a rupee. Such a thing has never happened.”
The farmers said —
“If this help had not been received then the next crop would also have been destroyed. Now hope has arisen that we will sow wheat on time.”
One elder said —
“In a manner similar to how a father cares for his children, Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj has acted.”
People of 3–4 nearby villages reached to see Patwapur. They said —
- “Seeing so many pipes standing, it seemed like some factory had been set up.
- “Such a big relief has never been given by anyone.”
- “Now we understand that God Himself has saved the farmer.”
Request Letter of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj
Along with the relief materials, a special request letter was sent, in which it was said —
If the water is not removed on time then next time help will not be given. A drone video of the village has to be made in three stages —
- When water is filled
- When water is removed
- When the crop waves
The videos will be shown in all Ashrams so that donors know that the service went to the right place. The village gave a promise that they will show by sowing the crop on time.
Gurudev ordered that by burying the pipes in the ground, a permanent system should be made so that if flood comes in the future then water can be removed immediately. This is not relief but a permanent protective shield for the future.
True Service of Humanity
This story is proof that when society and government both fail, then great personalities like Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj only come forward to save humanity. He understood the pain of the farmers, sent materials worth lakhs and gave a new morning to Patwapur. Patwapur village is saying today —
“This is not only assistance, it is a life-giving blessing.”
