The severity of the flood can be gauged by the fact that over 2000 acres of the village’s agricultural land, especially the paddy crops, were completely submerged, posing a serious threat to the farmers’ livelihood. The water level in the residential area also reached two and a half to three feet. Drain water continued to enter the village for 15-16 consecutive days, forcing about 40-50 families to abandon their homes and migrate.

After failing to receive expected help from the local administration and other social-political figures, despair set in among the villagers. Meanwhile, Sarpanch representative Rajkumar Ji and other members of the Panchayat learned about the flood relief service being run by Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj in neighboring villages.
The villagers realized that when major social and political figures remain silent, only a True Saint can become their Messiah. With this hope, the entire Panchayat reached the office of the Muninder Dharmarth Trust in Barwala and submitted a written prayer at the feet of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj. In this written prayer, they detailed the disaster that had befallen their village and also listed the equipment they needed to recover from it.
It is worth mentioning here that this prayer must be submitted to the office of the Muninder Dharmarth Trust, which operates under the holy orders of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj. More than 200 villages have submitted their prayers and received help through this process before Dahima village. The average time seen between submitting the prayer and receiving help is just 1 day.
‘Miraculous’ work began on the ground within 24 hours
No one would have expected such a quick hearing on the villagers’ plea, as they must have been exhausted from pleading elsewhere. But they were certainly confident that Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj would definitely rescue them from this trouble. The real miracle was to begin within 24 hours. Just 24 hours after submitting the written prayer, Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj’s order came, and a convoy laden with pipes, motors, band, valves, and all kinds of small and large materials was dispatched towards Dahima village.
