DEEG, RAJASTHAN – In a transformative act of philanthropy, Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj has extended His vast flood relief campaign to the village of Nagla Chahar in the Deeg district of Rajasthan. For decades, the farmers here looked at their fields with hopelessness, seeing only water where crops should have been. What the government could not solve in years, Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj resolved in a matter of days, bringing an early Diwali to a village drowning in despair.
The Dire Situation of Nagla Chahara
The situation in Village Nagla Chahar, Tehsil Kaman, was dire. For nearly 30 to 50 years, the monsoon season brought fear and tension rather than relief and happiness. Severe waterlogging had swallowed the villagers’ hard work, employment, and hope.
Approximately 250 bighas of agricultural land lay submerged under 3 to 4 feet of water, while areas near the canal saw depths of 6 to 7 feet. Farming was impossible. The natural drainage point was located a staggering 6,600 feet away, making it impossible for poor farmers to pump the water out using their limited resources. Despite repeated appeals to the government and administration, the problem remained too large for local authorities to handle, leaving the villagers feeling abandoned.
The Plea for Help
The villagers were desperate for a ray of hope. It was then that Sarpanch Shiv Ram and other villagers learned about the “Annapurna Muhim” run by Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj through the Sarpanch of a neighboring village, Ainchwada.

They humbly presented their difficulties at the feet of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj. They submitted a specific request for extensive piping and heavy-duty motors to bridge the long distance to the drainage canal. Furthermore, aware of the limited 6-hour electricity supply in the village, they requested arrangements for diesel generators to ensure continuous operation.
Immediate Action by Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj
When the plight of Nagla Chahar reached Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj, He did not hesitate. He immediately issued orders to provide every possible assistance to the village. He directed that the materials be dispatched without delay so that the farmers could salvage their land in time for the next sowing season.
Within just three days of the request, a convoy of trucks loaded with relief material arrived in Nagla Chahara. Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj provided:
- 6,600 feet of 8-inch delivery pipeline.
- 160 feet of 6-inch flexible suction pipe.
- Four heavy-duty 20-Horsepower motors.
- Four Starters and all necessary accessories (nuts, bolts, foot valves).
- Full financial support for renting generators and the cost of diesel fuel to run the pumps day and night.
Accountability and Vision
Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj ensures that His charity is not just for show but yields tangible results. Along with the relief materials, a letter conveying His message was read to the Gram Panchayat.

He stipulated that the villagers must work unitedly to drain the water. To ensure transparency, His team used drones to record the village’s condition:
- Before: Recording the submerged fields.
- During: Recording the drainage process.
- After: A future recording planned for when the crops are swaying in the reclaimed fields.
His message was clear: “The material is yours. Drain the water so the land breathes again. If this task is completed successfully, the Trust will always stand by you.”
“He Is God To Us”
The arrival of the relief convoy changed the atmosphere of Nagla Chahar instantly. Tears of despair turned into tears of gratitude.
Sarpanch Shiv Ram expressed his overwhelmed state, stating, “I bow down to Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj. We had been watching our land stay underwater for 30 years. We requested Him, and within three days, His team arrived. He has done what no one else could.”
Another villager remarked, “This is not just help; this is a new life. For us, Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj is not just a Sant; He is God. He has turned our grief into a festival. Our Diwali has truly arrived today.”
Comparing the efficiency of the relief to historical figures, a local youth noted, “Napoleon said the word ‘impossible’ is not in his dictionary. Today, Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj proved that by solving a 40-year-old problem in just days.”
Another chimed in saying, “I am truly amazed that relief material reached 16-17 villages every two hours in such a short time. The farmers’ previously wilted faces have blossomed with joy, as this aid brings a ray of hope that sowing can begin within 10-15 days. I extend my deepest gratitude to Sant Rampal Bhagwan for ensuring our fields will flourish on time through this massive and swift relief effort.“
Sant Rampal Ji’s Annapurna Muhim
The aid extended to Nagla Chahar Village is not an isolated incident. It is part of the “Annapurna Muhim,” a substantial and continuous flood relief organized by Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj. This Muhim, which began as an effort to provide food and shelter, has now evolved into a comprehensive humanitarian aid operation, which has reached over 300 villages.
His vision is clear: “Roti, Kapda, Chikitsa, Shiksha aur Makan, Har zaruratmand ko de raha Kabir Bhagwan.” (Bread, Cloth, Medical care, Education, and Shelter; God Kabir is providing to every needy person).
While others may look away, Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj continues to stand as a pillar of support for the farmers and the poor, proving that true spirituality also lies in the service of humanity. To ensure this humanitarian mission could proceed without financial constraint, He issued a strict order to halt all construction work at His 12 ashrams and over 500+ naamdaan centers, diverting all funds and manpower to save the flood-affected villages.
