When floodwaters enter villages, it is not just homes that are submerged, hopes and the future of children also drown. Recently, a similar situation unfolded in Dhanī Khān Bahādur village in Barwala Tehsil, Hisar district, Haryana. Standing crops were destroyed, houses were flooded, and even the school campus was submerged. The education of children came to a halt, and the entire village appeared helpless.
In this time of crisis, the rapid relief campaign initiated by Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj brought a ray of hope to the entire area. The village panchayat submitted their requests in written form, and astonishingly, within just 24 hours, 12,000 feet of 8-inch pipes, three powerful 10 HP Crompton motors, starters, wires, and other essential equipment were delivered to the village.
Efforts to Save the School
The primary school of Dhanī Khān Bahādur was the most affected. Continuous rainfall and floodwaters had entered the school building, and children were unable to attend classes for several days. Teachers and parents expressed concern that if the water was not removed soon, the students’ education would be disrupted for an extended period.
The motors and pipes sent by Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj addressed this problem efficiently. Villagers worked together to lay the pipes and install the motors. Now, there is hope that the school will be drained of water quickly, allowing students to resume their studies without delay.
Reaction from the Village Panchayat and Residents
The village sarpanch said that when they sent the request, they thought it might take several days, but the very next day, such a large amount of material arrived in the village it felt nothing short of a miracle.
Villager Satyavan emotionally stated that government aid often takes weeks, but here, assistance arrived within hours. Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj demonstrated that a true saint is one who acts in society’s moments of crisis. Elderly resident Gulab Singh said that they have never seen assistance delivered this quickly and on such a large scale in our lives. Only a saint could do this.
Relief Extended to Multiple Villages
The relief campaign of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj was not limited to Dhanī Khān Bahādur alone. Other flood-affected villages in Haryana also received prompt assistance:

Annapurna Muhim Campaign
Not only were essential tools provided, but food and groceries were also distributed. In Matrshyam village of Fatehabad district, over 50 families received ration supplies under the Annapurna campaign. Essential items like flour, rice, lentils, cooking oil, and other necessities reached households, providing significant relief.
Young Panch Ram said, “We have never seen a service like the Annapurna scheme. It has brought new hope to the entire village.”
It is noteworthy that Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj has been organizing food distributions since the COVID-19 pandemic, ensuring that both flood victims and other disaster-affected communities receive timely support. Under the Annapurna Muhim campaign, many families continue to receive free ration supplies regularly.
Orders and Vision of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj
Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj issued a clear directive to His followers: halt all ongoing construction work in ashrams and dedicate all resources to assisting flood victims.
The priority, he emphasized, was to save lives first.. As directed, His followers worked day and night, mobilizing relief material and distributing it village by village via tractors and trucks.
Hope and Gratitude Among Villagers
Children in the village were excited, knowing that their school would soon reopen. Women expressed emotional gratitude upon receiving the relief supplies. One woman shared that her household had been running low on food for several days, and the distributed material would ensure her children are fed. Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj, according to villagers, is not just a saint for the village but a savior for the world.
Faith Strengthened Through Service
The relief campaign in Dhanī Khān Bahādur and other villages did more than drain floodwater; it restored faith. Discussions across villages indicate that if such service is extended everywhere, no family would remain helpless during disasters. Children will soon return to classrooms, and the village’s hope has been rekindled.
Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj assured the sarpanch that with the grace of Kabir Parmeshwar, they will continue to receive all possible assistance, including help for the next wheat crop and other essential needs until the land is fertile again.
The Flood Relief Initiative that Became a Model
The flood relief initiative led by Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj has become a model for Haryana. From Dhanī Khān Bahādur to Sindhar and Matrshyam, wherever assistance reached, villagers breathed a sigh of relief. This story is not merely about delivering relief material—it is a testament to the principle that service to society is paramount.
In moments when people lose hope, Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj’s intervention reminds us that divine help manifests on Earth, arriving swiftly to aid those in need.
