This account is of Bhatol Jatan, a village in Hansi Tehsil of Hisar district, Haryana, where nature’s fury shattered the farmers’ confidence. The story is not only about fields submerged in floodwater, but also about the broken trust that Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj restored through His benevolent actions.
Around 600 to 700 acres (approximately 243 to 283 hectares, with local estimates suggesting up to 1,000 acres or 405 hectares) of farmland were submerged. The entire kharif crop was destroyed, and due to persistent waterlogging, the hope of sowing the upcoming rabi wheat crop had vanished. In several places, water stood at depths of 2 to 2.5 feet (0.61 to 0.76 metres), disrupting agriculture as well as daily life.
Water had entered homes, fodder for livestock had become scarce, and the flooding forced schools and dispensaries to close, affecting children’s education and healthcare. Disappointed with every government agency, the villagers placed their final hope in the Saint whom they had begun to consider the real authority.
The Appeal by Village Representatives and the Miraculous Relief
After facing disappointment on every front, the Gram Panchayat of Bhatol Jatan, led by the Sarpanch Representative and President of the Block Two Hansi Sarpanch Association, Shri Jeetendra ji, decided to appeal to Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj. Members of the Panchayat reached the office in Barwala and submitted a written request at His feet.

The request sought specific materials required to drain the floodwater: two large motors (one 15 HP and one 10 HP) and 7,000 feet (2,134 metres) of pipeline. Villagers did not expect such quick action, but what followed was nothing short of a miracle.
Within just a few days of submitting the request, a massive convoy of relief reached Bhatol Jatan. This convoy was not merely physical material; it was a dawn of hope for thousands of farmers who had lost everything. Accepting the request of Jeetendra ji and Sarpanch Smt. Pushpa Choudhary without delay, Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj issued strict instructions for immediate relief.
Complete Details of Flood Relief Material Worth Lakhs
Following the directives of Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj, the convoy that arrived in Bhatol Jatan carried high-value materials worth lakhs of rupees. The supplies precisely matched the requested items, along with additional support materials to ensure villagers would face no inconvenience.
The relief materials included:
- Two large motors: one 15 HP and one 10 HP
- Pipeline: 7,000 feet (2,134 metres), 8-inch diameter, high-quality
- Supporting tools: starters, cables, metallic fasteners, bands for angling, hand tools for redirecting water, adhesive for pipeline joints, and all necessary nuts, bolts and screws
Sewadars emphasised that the entire material was delivered in a single shipment to ensure villagers could start draining water immediately. The consignment was handed over formally at the Chaupal in the presence of the villagers. After examining everything, villagers confirmed that every item requested had been provided and even more than what had been asked for.
Annapurna Muhim – A Nationwide Humanitarian Initiative
This flood-relief effort is a vital part of the Annapurna Muhim initiated by Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj, which aims to meet the essential needs of food, clothing and shelter across India.
Sewadars explained that under His instructions, this relief programme has already been successfully executed in more than 300 flood-affected villages across Haryana, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Jammu and Kashmir, and Gujarat, and continues without interruption. In some villages, 10 to 17 motors have been provided as needed.

Under the Annapurna Muhim, support is not limited to flood relief. Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj has also resolved to help with house construction for the poor, children’s education, and medical expenses. His directive is clear: avoid showmanship and work directly at the ground level.
This initiative is a selfless national mission dedicated to society and the nation, benefiting not only farmers and labourers in flood-prone regions but also people across all sections of the community.
Villagers Declare: “Saint Rampal Ji is the Real Government”
Upon receiving the relief material, the happiness of the villagers knew no bounds. Farmers expressed gratitude and declared Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj to be “a manifestation of God” and “the true messiah of farmers.”

Jeetendra ji and other villagers highlighted that even governments with vast resources failed to address the crisis. One villager said, “This work was beyond the government’s capacity. For us, Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj is the true form of God.”
They cited examples such as the Maham Chaubisi region, where the DC and SDM stayed for three days but could not drain the water. Another elderly resident said that in fifty years, no one had taken such a large humanitarian step or spent so much for the poor.

This service, where material worth crores has been sent to villages multiple times, demonstrated that the Saint does not consume donations like storytellers or wealthy patrons, but dedicates every penny to public welfare. This is the highest service to humanity because when a farmer’s stove burns, only then does the labourer’s stove burn.
Transparency in Service and a Permanent Future Solution
While handing over the relief material, a “Special Request Letter” from Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj was also given to the Gram Panchayat.
This letter was not only an expression of goodwill but also included an important condition reflecting His discipline and transparency.
The villagers were instructed to work together, use the motors and pipeline properly, and ensure that the floodwater was drained within the required time so that wheat sowing could begin.
The letter clearly warned:
“If the water is not drained within the required time using the material provided by Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj and the crop is not sown this season, our trust will not provide further assistance to your village.”
This condition motivated the villagers to act promptly and responsibly. According to His instructions, Sewadars have already recorded drone footage of the waterlogged fields. A second video will be made once the water is drained. A third video will be made when the wheat crop flourishes. All three videos will be shown at every gathering in the Satlok Ashrams.
The purpose is to ensure donors remain confident that their contributions are not misused and to show them how their support has saved countless lives. Villagers were also given a long-term solution: they were advised to bury the pipeline in their fields so that whenever excess rain causes flooding in the future, they can immediately start draining water.
This blessing, in the form of essential equipment, will free farmers from recurring flood problems and ensure that neither the present nor future crops are damaged. This initiative by Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj is an unprecedented example in the field of social service, where the welfare of farmers and society is placed above all else.
