Floodwater had been accumulated for several months in nearly 500 to 2,000 acres of farmland, severely affecting farmers. However, within just 72 hours of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj’s intervention, a relief convoy reached the village. Under the leadership of Sarpanch Subhash, the entire village welcomed this assistance as a divine blessing and offered a grand reception to Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj.
Failure of the Government System and the Burden of Being the “Last Village”
Bedwa village lies at the extreme edge of Rohtak district. Villagers state that by the time government development schemes and relief measures reach this area, they lose effectiveness. For the past two months, fields remained submerged under 6 feet (about 1.8 metres) of water, destroying the Kharif crop and casting uncertainty over Rabi sowing.
According to villagers, government representatives visited only for photographs, while no real solution was implemented on the ground. Farmers suffered individual losses ranging from 30 to 40 lakh rupees (3 to 4 million). Completely disheartened after losing hope from administration and leaders, villagers finally decided to seek refuge with Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj.
Relief Convoy Arrived Within 72 hours: The ‘Superfast’ Service of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj
Bedwa village shares a nearly 20 year old association with Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj, dating back to His visit for a three day Akhand Path. With this trust, Sarpanch Subhash and villagers approached Him with their plea.
Without any delay, Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj ordered the dispatch of relief material within just 72 hours. In the first phase, 13,000 feet (about 4,000 metres) of 8 inch pipes and two 15 HP motors were sent. When this proved insufficient due to excessive water, He provided an additional 7,000 feet (about 2,100 metres) of pipeline and another 15 HP motor in the second phase. The village now has a total of 20,000 feet (about 6,100 metres) of pipeline and three powerful motors.
Free A to Z Material Under Annapurna Muhim
Under Annapurna Muhim, Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj provided not only large machines but also every small item required for drainage. The convoy included starters, cables, nuts and bolts, washers, adhesive materials, and even taps.

Villagers expressed surprise, stating they had asked only for pipes and motors, yet Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj sent far more than required. No donations were collected, nor was any political benefit sought, clearly reflecting His selfless spirit of service.
Grand welcome and Unshakable Faith of Villagers: “Maharaj Ji is an Incarnation of God”
When dozens of vehicles loaded with relief material reached Bedwa’s boundary, villagers welcomed them with drums and slogans. Flowers were showered in reverence, and heartfelt salutations were offered.

Villagers stated that what governments with budgets worth crores could not achieve was accomplished by Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj. Deva Singh and others referred to Him as an “incarnation of God” and said that Bedwa was celebrating a real Diwali, as hope for crops had returned.
Drone Monitoring and Accountability: a Firm Message From Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj
Along with assistance, Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj emphasised responsibility. Through a written message read by volunteers, He clearly instructed that regardless of the resources required, water must be drained completely and the next crop must be sown.
For transparency, drone videos of the waterlogged situation have been recorded. After drainage and crop growth, further drone videos will be made to show the world how donated resources are properly utilised. He also clarified that negligence by villagers would result in no future assistance from the trust.
“Permanent Gift”: The Difference Between Government and Spiritual Assistance
Villagers expressed special happiness that the 20,000 feet (about 6,100 metres) of pipeline and motors have become permanent assets of the village. Unlike government aid where equipment is taken back, Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj gifted these resources permanently.
He instructed villagers to bury the pipelines underground so that any future rainwater accumulation can be drained immediately. This “permanent gift” has paved the way for Bedwa’s long term freedom from flooding.
Annapurna Muhim: Welfare of Farmers, Labourers, and all 36 Communities
Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj belongs to a farming family and deeply understands farmers’ hardships. Under His guidance, Annapurna Muhim is successfully operating not only in Haryana but also in Punjab, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Uttarakhand, and Jammu and Kashmir.
He believes that farmers are the food providers of the nation. If farmers survive, labourers survive, and only then does the country survive. So far, more than 400 villages have been freed from flooding under this mission. This initiative works beyond caste divisions for the welfare of all 36 communities.
A New Chapter in the Revival of Bedwa
Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj provided Bedwa village not only material assistance but also renewed confidence and hope. By prioritising this forgotten “last village,” He set a powerful example of humanitarian and spiritual service.
Today, water is rapidly draining from the fields and farmers once again see hope for sowing crops. This initiative has emerged as a global example of compassion, service, and spiritual responsibility in the modern era. Villagers have resolved to follow His instructions and ensure the success of this victory of humanity through the next harvest.
