A New Dawn in Lohari Jatu: Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj’s Relief Efforts Transform Lives
SHARE

Lohari Jatu village in Haryana’s Bhiwani district witnessed one of the most devastating floods in recent years, washing away years of hard work by local farmers within days. Nearly 3,000 acres of agricultural land were submerged under water. Standing crops were completely destroyed, and hopes of sowing the next crop had all but vanished. Roads, homes, schools, and even the village dispensary were inundated, bringing daily life to a standstill.

Villagers made repeated visits to government offices, but beyond assurances, no concrete relief reached the ground. Anxiety deepened to the extent that families began to fear food shortages and the possibility of arranging grain from outside villages. Despair loomed large over Lohari Jatu.

Amid this grim situation, villagers heard about flood relief work underway in the neighboring village of Mandana, where teams associated with Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj were reportedly supplying heavy motors, pipes, and equipment to drain floodwater. This news became the final ray of hope for Lohari Jatu. Acting on this belief, the village panchayat decided to approach Barwala on 2 October, submitting a humble request for assistance.

One Application and Seven Days That Changed Everything

On 2 October, members of the Lohari Jatu panchayat reached Barwala without any prior connections or recommendations. They presented their plight before Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj’s team, who listened carefully and assured them that their appeal would be conveyed to Guruji and that a solution would follow.

At that moment, even the villagers themselves did not believe their plea would be answered so swiftly. However, within just seven days, on 9 October, a massive relief convoy arrived in Lohari Jatu. The sight left the entire village astonished and overwhelmed with gratitude.

A Seven-Day Miracle: A Massive Relief Convoy Reaches the Village

The villagers never imagined that their request submitted without influence, references, or intermediaries would be fulfilled so quickly. Yet, what unfolded appeared nothing short of extraordinary.

The relief convoy included 10,000 feet of high-quality 8-inch pipes, five powerful 15 HP car-grade monoblock motors, along with starters, cables, bolts, clamps, and every accessory required to operate the machinery efficiently. Villagers remarked that not even a single nut or bolt needed to be procured from outside.

Elderly residents described the event as divine intervention, stating that such work seemed beyond human capability and reflected the presence of a higher power at work.

Voices of the Village and the Panchayat’s Emotions

The village sarpanch shared that when they initially traveled to Barwala, they carried doubts in their hearts unsure whether anyone would listen to them without influence or recommendations. Instead, they encountered dignity, empathy, and immediate acceptance of their request.

Villagers expressed that while government mechanisms remained entangled in paperwork, Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj worked directly at ground level to provide real relief. Many became emotional while recalling that without this assistance, not only farming but the very survival of the village would have been at stake. Some feared hunger for children; others believed the village’s backbone would have collapsed under the weight of floodwater.

The sarpanch recalled, “They did not know us at all, yet they treated us with respect. There was no recommendation, only our pain was seen. We were told clearly that our problem would be resolved. And in just seven days, that promise was fulfilled.”

Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj’s Message to the Village

Along with the relief materials, a formal message from Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj was conveyed to the village. It stated that villagers could request additional resources if required, but they must ensure that floodwater is drained within the stipulated time and that crop sowing takes place. Failure to utilize the provided resources effectively would result in no further assistance in the future.

Being from a farming family Himself, Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj deeply understands the pain of farmers. The message emphasized that while governments do what they can during disasters, their efforts often fall short. In such situations, religious and social institutions must step forward to reduce the burden on the state and provide immediate relief.

It was also announced that three videos would be recorded, one depicting the flooded condition of the village, the second after water drainage, and the third when crops are flourishing. These videos would be shown during religious congregations to ensure transparency and demonstrate the proper utilization of donations.

Under the Annapurna Mission, more than 400 villages have already received relief. The guiding principle of this mission, villagers were told, is not publicity but results in swift, effective, and visible action.

A Major Step Toward a Permanent Solution

Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj’s team explained to villagers that the provided materials were not merely for addressing the present crisis but were intended as a permanent solution. Pipes were to be laid underground so that whenever heavy rainfall occurs in the future, excess water can be drained immediately, preventing waterlogging permanently.

Villagers described this initiative as a generational blessing, stating that such flood conditions would never return to Lohari Jatu. Confidence replaced fear as farmers began preparing once again for the next agricultural cycle.

Village Honors Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj with a Pagdi

In a gesture of deep gratitude, Lohari Jatu village presented a Pagdi (traditional turban) to Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj, considered one of the highest honors in Haryana’s cultural tradition. Sewadars accepted the honor on Guruji’s behalf, stating that service to humanity is the highest form of worship and that the honor was humbly offered at the Guru’s feet.

Bhupania Village ka saman

Elderly villagers remarked that they had seen saints deliver sermons all their lives but had never witnessed such selfless action. A 60-year-old resident said this was the first time he had seen a saint perform service of this magnitude. Another villager observed that when farmers survive, laborers survive too, calling the relief effort an act that saved countless lives.

Sacred Stories Seem to Come Alive

Several villagers compared the scene to ancient spiritual stories where prayers were answered instantly with a “Tathastu.” They said that in the present age, witnessing such an event with their own eyes felt like seeing those stories come alive.

One Name on Every Lip

Across Lohari Jatu among farmers, laborers, women, and elders only one name was there: Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj. Some called it a miracle, others described Him as a divine presence in the modern age, while many felt He had been sent to restore humanity.

A professor from the village reflected, “God may not always be visible, but today we experienced that He does manifest on earth in some form.”

Annapurna Mission: A Living Example of Social Service

Under Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj’s Annapurna Muhim, more than 300 villages had already received assistance even before this initiative, and the effort continues unabated. The mission aims to ensure that no one sleeps hungry, no family is left homeless, and no community stands alone during disasters.

This initiative has become a living example of genuine social service, one that prioritizes action over display and impact over publicity.

A Village Saved, A New Beginning

The story of Lohari Jatu is not merely about relief supplies, it is a story of faith that pulled a community out of despair and into hope. Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj’s initiative has reaffirmed that true service means standing beside people in their darkest hour.

Today, Lohari Jatu moves forward with renewed energy, confidence, and direction. Villagers say they may never have seen God, but in this moment of crisis, it felt as though divine help had personally reached their village.

According to the villagers’ belief, Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj is no ordinary saint. They regard Him as a manifestation of Kabir Sahib, whose mission is to uplift the helpless, feed the hungry, support the poor, and restore dignity to humanity.
