In Baland village, located within Rohtak district in the state of Haryana, severe waterlogging has persisted as a critical issue for farmers, villagers, and livestock across multiple generations. Wastewater from the entire village accumulates in two local ponds, causing them to overflow continuously.

In the absence of a permanent drainage infrastructure, this stagnant wastewater floods surrounding residential areas, agricultural lands, and educational institutions. The severity of the situation rendered an old government school building entirely unusable due to water inundation, while wastewater frequently enters a second school during heavy accumulation periods.

Furthermore, the overflow obstructs livestock movement, causing animal illnesses, restricting paddy cultivation, and preventing subsequent crop sowing. Despite repeated appeals over decades, governmental systems failed to provide a permanent resolution.

Formal Petition and Ground Survey Execution

Seeking a permanent remedy, a delegation comprising village head (Satgama Pradhan) Shripal Satgama, the village sarpanch, and 15 to 20 prominent community members—including Sardar Major Dilbag Singh—visited Dhanana village to submit a formal petition under the Kisan Mazdoor Bachao Abhiyan.

Upon receiving the application, a technical survey team was immediately dispatched to Baland village under the directive of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj. The survey team conducted a physical ground inspection of both village ponds, waterlogging-affected agricultural plots, school premises, residential zones, and potential drainage pathways.

Although the gram panchayat initially estimated a requirement of approximately 8,000 feet of pipeline and three water pumps, precise technical measurement on site established the actual requirement as 5,200 feet of 8-inch pipelines and three 10-horsepower (10 HP) motors. This technical survey report was submitted to Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj and received formal approval.

Relief Material Dispatch and Technical Specifications

Following the approval of the petition, relief materials under the Kisan Mazdoor Bachao Abhiyan were dispatched to Baland village pursuant to the directives of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj. Authorized volunteers delivered the required consignment to the gram panchayat, comprising:

  • 5,200 feet of 8-inch PVC pipelines
  • Three units of 10 HP water motors (approved for delivery upon completion and inspection of underground pipeline installation)
  • PVC bends, solvent cement (Fevicol), and air valves
  • Iron plates, gaskets (jain), steel nuts, bolts, and all associated necessary accessories

The engineered drainage network spans three specific discharge points to clear accumulated rainwater from fields and wastewater from ponds. Additionally, infrastructure is established to facilitate freshwater intake or drainage connectivity via the JLN canal system when required.

Nationwide Welfare Campaigns and Annapurna Initiative

Operating under overarching welfare frameworks, Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj has executed service projects across more than 100 villages through the Kisan Mazdoor Bachao Abhiyan Phase 2, Shuddh Peyajal Seva Abhiyan, and Pashudhan Bachao Shuddh Jal Pilao Abhiyan. Furthermore, through the Annapurna campaign initiated by Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj, a global welfare provision has been instituted:

  • All farmers owning landholdings up to 2.5 acres are provided completely free agricultural inputs, including fertilizers, seeds, and pesticides.
  • Beneficiary farmers are not required to visit physical distribution centers; registration via land copy (fard), Aadhaar card, and the ‘Meri Fsal Mera Byora’ portal is sufficient.
  • Dedicated helpline numbers (9992600931 and 932) have been established for remote information access and coordination.
  • Consignments of fertilizers, seeds, and chemical inputs are transported directly to the doorsteps of registered farmers by volunteers acting under the guidance of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj.
  • This welfare scheme is operational across states in India and expanding internationally.

Villager Testimonies and Formal Acknowledgments

Upon the arrival of the relief consignment, village head Shripal Satgama, the sarpanch, Sardar Major Dilbag Singh, and local residents performed ceremonial welcoming rituals and offered floral garlands to honor the portrait representing Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj.

Expressing gratitude through invocation prayers, villagers emphasized that despite systemic governmental inaction spanning decades, Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj resolved their generational crisis within 24 to 48 hours.
