In some parts of India, a drought is a tragedy, but in Adupur village, it was the ‘water’ that had stolen their livelihoods for two decades. After 20 years of seeing their fields act as a permanent lake, the residents are finally witnessing a sea of green wheat, thanks to the divine intervention of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj.
The Two-Decade Struggle
For nearly 20 years, approximately 500 acres of fertile land in Adupur remained submerged under 5 to 6 feet of water.
The Irony of Ownership: Farmers who owned acres of land were forced to buy grain from the market to feed their children.
Environmental Decay: Stagnant water had caused massive trees like Sheesham to rot and die, turning a lush area into a watery graveyard.
Administrative Silence: Year after year, the village sought help from the government, but received nothing but empty promises.
The Arrival of Hope
When the village panchayat sent a plea to Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj, they didn’t expect such a rapid response. Within a short time, a massive relief convoy arrived with:

- 4,000 feet of 8-inch piping.
- 3 Heavy-duty 15 HP Motors.
- Zero Cost to Village: Sarpanch Lal Singh confirmed that not a single rupee was spent by the panchayat; every nut and bolt was provided by the Sant.
A Permanent Solution for Future Generations
The powerful motors worked day and night, pushing the deep water into distant drains. But the villagers didn’t stop there.
Underground Piping: Showing great foresight, the villagers have buried the 1-kilometer-long pipeline underground.
90% Sowing Complete: Today, wheat and mustard crops are flourishing on land that hadn’t seen a plow in 15 years.

Voices of the Reborn Village
“We are finally eating grain from our own soil,” says a resident, his voice cracking with emotion. “For years, we lived in debt and bought wheat from outside. Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj has given our village a new life.”
Sarpanch Lal Singh adds, “The entire village is indebted to Maharaj Ji. He did for us what no government could do in 20 years.”
A Legacy of Selfless Service
The transformation of Adupur is not just about drainage; it’s about the return of dignity. By providing a permanent infrastructure for the village, Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj has ensured that the next generation of Adupur will never have to buy grain despite being landowners.
