The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially commenced the online registration process for the CSIR UGC NET December 2025 examination. According to the NTA schedule, the last date to pay the application fee is October 25, 2025, while the correction window for any errors in the form will remain open until October 29, 2025.

Exam Date and Format

The CSIR UGC NET December 2025 examination will be held on December 18, 2025, in two sessions:

  • Shift 1: 9 AM to 12 Noon
  • Shift 2: 3 PM to 6 PM

The test will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode across multiple cities in India. The paper will be available in both Hindi and English languages. However, in case of any ambiguity in translation, the English version will be treated as final, as per NTA guidelines.
