The recent floods in Haryana’s Rohtak district caused severe devastation in two major village panchayats—Naya Baans and Kheri Sampla. Continuous heavy rainfall submerged thousands of acres of farmland, leaving farmers in despair. Amidst this hopeless situation and lack of government support, the villages received immediate and long-term relief through Jagatguru Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj’s extensive Annapurna Muhim. This support not only proved to be a lifeline but also highlighted His unmatched dedication to public welfare.

Disappointment with Government Machinery: Villagers’ Pleas Went Unheard
Farmers of these villages under the Sampla tehsil of Rohtak faced a double blow of natural disaster. Nearly 500–600 acres in Naya Baans and around 700–800 acres in Kheri Sampla—roughly 1,300–1,400 acres in total—were submerged under 3 to 4 feet (about 1 to 1.2 metres) of water. Their current crops were completely destroyed, and the next sowing season seemed impossible.
The villagers, including representatives such as Praveen Kumar from Naya Baans and citizens of Kheri Sampla, repeatedly appealed to the district administration for help. While the administration provided electricity connections, it failed to supply essential drainage equipment—motors and pipes. This incomplete government response forced the villagers to seek an alternative solution.
The Compassionate Saint: Immediate Response from Sant Rampal Ji
After losing hope in official help, both village panchayats made a remarkable decision to seek assistance from Jagatguru Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj. Village representatives and respected residents carried a written request seeking 10,000 feet (about 3,000 metres) of pipeline and three high-capacity motors—one of 15 horsepower and two of 10 horsepower.
Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj immediately accepted their collective plea.

The villagers had not expected such a swift response, but within just a few days, a large convoy carrying relief equipment was dispatched to Naya Baans. This rapid and miraculous response filled the villagers with deep gratitude and awe. They unanimously acknowledged that Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj possesses divine strength capable of resolving every suffering in an instant.
The Grand Convoy of Annapurna Muhim: Relief and Permanent Solution
The relief convoy sent by Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj included not only motors and pipes but a complete solution. A total of 10,000 feet of high-quality 8-inch diameter pipes (5,000 feet for Naya Baans and 5,000 feet for Kheri Sampla) were supplied. Along with these, all three requested motors (one 15 HP and two 10 HP) were provided. But the aid did not stop there—starters, cables, valves, bands, and every small or large accessory required for the installation and functioning of the equipment were also included so that the villagers faced no difficulties. All materials were delivered to Naya Baans under His direction.

This was not merely a temporary fix; Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj insisted on a permanent solution. Following His instructions, the villagers were requested to bury the pipes underground to establish a sustainable drainage system. He clearly directed that no matter how much material was required, the water must be drained out and the next sowing must take place without delay. He also gave a strict warning that if the equipment was not properly used and water not drained in time, no further assistance would be provided in the future. This order reflected His deep commitment to service and responsible use of resources.
Unprecedented Gratitude: Villagers Offered Turbans in Respect
After receiving the relief materials, the joy among the villagers knew no bounds. Council member Majit from Kheri Sampla and Praveen Kumar, the representative Sarpanch of Naya Baans, along with all villagers, expressed heartfelt thanks to Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj. They described this rapid response as “superfast service,” saying it felt like witnessing God Himself.
The villagers declared in one voice that a true Saint is one who stands with the people in times of distress, not one who merely shows off. Their gratitude went beyond words.

Elders and respected residents from both villages presented two turbans to be offered at the Lotus Feet of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj—a traditional Indian gesture representing the highest honour in rural culture. This offering symbolised their deep reverence and recognition that He had not only resolved their immediate suffering but also secured a lasting place in their hearts.
A New Dawn: From Service to Lasting Solutions
The story of Naya Baans and Kheri Sampla in Rohtak showcases the far-reaching and effective nature of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj’s Annapurna Muhim. This initiative is not merely about distributing aid—it is a mission to uplift farmers and labourers from crisis and grant them “new life.” He has demonstrated that true spirituality lies in service and compassion. Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj has also urged other religious institutions to act for social and national welfare in times of disaster instead of focusing solely on collecting wealth through discourses.
His selfless service will not only save the next crop of farmers but will also ensure a permanent solution to the region’s flooding problem through a sustainable drainage system—a gift for the future.
