- This number is way more than first day early voting for 70,849 voters in the 2018 midterm elections, 1,36,739 voters in the 2020 Presidential Election, and 1,34,962 in the 2022 midterm elections.
Georgia Second Day of Early Voting
- Like the first day, the second isn’t going slow, and witnessing a huge voter turn out yet again.
- On the second day, the total voter turnout reached 7.2%, with a total number of active voters as 71,82,473.
- The total voter turnout is 5,20,182 comprising 4,90,986 as Early Voting (In-person) and 29,196 as Absentee voting.
- Absentee voting is a method which allows voters to cast their vote without physically going to the polling place.
- Voters request a ballot, which is received by mail, and the voter returns it after filling it out, either by mailing or by dropping it at the asked location before the deadline.
