Infrastructure and Safety Measures at Kumbh 2025
In response to the significant increase in the number of pilgrims, eight new permanent ghats have been established along the Ganga and Yamuna rivers. These ghats have the capacity to accommodate approximately 120,000 individuals simultaneously. To ensure the safety of the devotees, more than 10,000 police personnel have been assigned to the area, in addition to teams from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and water police units. Furthermore, QR codes placed on electricity poles assist pilgrims in navigating the vicinity and submitting complaints effectively.
