Diwali Turns into Deliverance: Satguru Rampal Ji Maharaj Helps Save Submerged Farms in Guda village
SHARE

Festivals are meant to bring joy, but for the residents of Guda village in the Jhajjar district of Haryana, the recent Diwali brought only despair. The entire village was engulfed by severe floodwaters. The situation was catastrophic: the streets were completely blocked, people could not step out of their homes, the cattle had nowhere to go, and even clean drinking water had become a severe crisis.

The farmers were watching their livelihood rot underwater, unable to sow the upcoming crops. For Guda, the festival of lights was overshadowed by the dark clouds of ruin.

A Plea to the Supreme Power

Having witnessed the administration’s limitations in dealing with such massive agricultural crises, the Gram Panchayat of Guda decided to seek help from a higher power. They approached the Satlok Ashram and submitted a formal request to SATGURU Rampal Ji Maharaj.

The villagers requested 4 heavy motors and 13,500 feet of pipe to channel the floodwaters out of their village and fields. They knew of His ongoing “Annapurna Mission,” a massive humanitarian effort spanning across India to provide food, shelter, education, medical help, and flood relief to the destitute.

The Diwali Miracle: Swift and Massive Relief

What happened next felt nothing short of a miracle to the villagers. Exactly on the night of Diwali, just four days after the plea was submitted, a massive convoy of trucks and loaders rolled into Guda village.

Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj had accepted their plea and sent an astonishing amount of relief material:

  • 13,500 Feet of Pipe: Massive 8-inch wide pipes to ensure the rapid drainage of floodwater.
  • Four 20 HP Motors: High-powered heavy-duty motors designed to pump out millions of liters of water.
  • Complete Installation Kit: The relief included starters, elbows, suction pipes, rubber gaskets, and every necessary component required to make the system operational immediately. The quality of the material provided was top-notch, ensuring no leakage or future troubles for the farmers.

A Village Overwhelmed with Gratitude

The despair in the village evaporated the moment the convoy arrived. The darkness of the night was pierced by the headlights of the trucks, but more so by the hope they brought.

The Sarpanch of Guda village addressed the gathering with deep emotion: “We put forward a small request just four days ago, and today, everything has been provided. Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj was once a JE in the irrigation department near our area. He left His job to serve society, and today, He is proving what true service is. We are eternally grateful.”

The villagers echoed this sentiment. One farmer said, “Guru Ji did ‘Mauj’ (a miracle) for us. The water had turned our village into a pond; we couldn’t even step out. Now the water will be drained, and our next crop will be saved. We are celebrating a double Diwali today!”

A Permanent Gift and a Vow of Service

The Sewadars (disciples) clarified that this massive machinery wasn’t just a temporary loan, it was a permanent gift to the village. The equipment is to be buried or stored safely so that Guda village never has to drown again. In return, the Ashram handed a letter to the Panchayat, placing only one condition: the water must be drained promptly, and the next crop must be sown.

To honor this immense grace, the Gram Panchayat of Guda presented a traditional Pagdi (turban) and a memento to the Sewadars, dedicating it to Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj ji. As one disciple explained, offering a Pagdi in Haryana signifies surrendering one’s head and utmost respect.

The True Guardian of the Farmers

The story of Guda is a testament to a love that runs deeper than blood relations. When the government systems struggled to cope, Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj stepped in as a true father figure, ensuring His children did not suffer. The 13,500 feet of pipe are not just plastic; they are the lifelines that have pulled an entire village out of a watery grave. Today, Guda village looks forward to a prosperous harvest, forever indebted to the Saint who brought them light on the darkest Diwali.
