Khabda Kala village of Bhattu Kala tehsil of Fatehabad district of Haryana has been struggling with a severe waterlogging and saline-affected problem for more than a decade. Since the year 2013, the continuously rising water level has turned about 2000 acres of fertile agricultural land of the village barren. Due to water remaining filled in the fields for months, crops kept getting destroyed, which ended the income of farmers.

The situation had become so frightening that tube wells installed by the government and drainage schemes also proved to be completely inadequate. Due to farming coming to a halt, unemployment increased in the village, the burden of debt grew, and many farmer families reached the brink of migration and suicidal steps due to mental stress.
Villagers’ Prayer after Administrative Failure
When no concrete solution emerged even after years of going around government offices and submitting memorandums, then the gram panchayat and the people of the village collectively chose a different path. Writing their pain and needs in detail, the villagers sent a prayer letter at the feet of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj.
In this prayer, it was clearly stated that if arrangements for water drainage were not made in time, then sowing of the coming crops would also become impossible and the future of the village would become completely dark.
Rapid Survey and Approval after the Prayer
As soon as the prayer letter was received, on the instructions of Guruji, a rapid survey of the entire area was conducted. The affected area of the village, the depth of waterlogging, and the required resources were assessed. As soon as the report was prepared, approval was given without any delay. This process was so fast and systematic that after years of despair, the villagers saw hope for the first time. Within just seven days, the plan to deliver relief material to the village was implemented.
Record-level Relief Material within Seven Days
Considering the massive problem of the village, Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj sent unprecedented assistance. Under this, a 20,000-foot-long 8-inch pipeline and three powerful 20 HP motors were sent for Khabda Kala. This assistance was not limited only to the main equipment, but was given with a complete arrangement.

Even the smallest materials such as nut-bolts, joints, flanges, starters, and Fevicol required for connecting the pipeline were also sent together, so that the gram panchayat would not need to buy anything from the market and the work could start immediately.
Transparency and Responsibility of the Gram Panchayat
Regarding this relief material worth lakhs of rupees, the gram panchayat presented an example of complete transparency and accountability. The panchayat decided that all pipes and motors would be kept at a safe place under the monitoring of CCTV cameras.
Along with this, a resolve was taken that the entire process of installation, water drainage, and improvement in the condition of the fields would be video recorded and sent to Guruji from time to time, so that it remains clear that the assistance given is being used correctly and honestly.
Reaction of Villagers and Public Representatives
The sarpanch, panchayat members, district council representatives, and elderly farmers of the village described this assistance as historic. Villagers said that where government schemes had remained incomplete for years, there with one order of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj, the direction of solution was decided within seven days.
Many farmers said emotionally that this is not only freedom from waterlogging, but a re-beginning of their self-respect and life. Village representatives also accepted that they had never seen such rapid and effective assistance before.
Foundation of a Permanent Solution for Farmers

This relief is not limited only to the immediate crisis. The 20,000-foot pipeline has been permanently buried in the ground so that arrangements exist to deal with waterlogging in the future as well. Villagers have faith that now no matter how much it rains, water will not accumulate in the fields and drainage will be possible in time. With this, not only will sowing of the coming wheat crop be possible, but farming will remain secure in the coming years and farmers will be able to become economically strong.

Message of Responsibility and Discipline along with Service
With this entire relief process, the clear message of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj was that service will be considered successful only when it is used correctly and expected results come forth. Therefore, villagers were also given the responsibility that they drain water on time, prepare the fields, and ensure sowing of the next crop. This approach shows that charity is not only about providing assistance, but about making society self-reliant.
The Story of Khabda Kala: From Hope to the Future
This story of Khabda Kala is not only of 20,000 feet of pipeline and three motors, but is the story of that trust and accountability which gave a new direction to farmers suffering for years. Villagers accepted that when no solution was received from the administration, Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj selflessly stepped forward and wiped the tears of the food providers.
This relief is not just a facility for the village, but a new morning, new confidence, and a strong step towards a secure future.
