This year, the Ajnala tehsil of Amritsar district faced a devastating flood. The swollen rivers turned the fields into ponds, and where once lush greenery swayed, there now lies only silence over the waters. The hard-earned paddy crops of farmers have been completely destroyed. The soil has become so saturated and polluted that sowing the upcoming Rabi crop, especially wheat, seemed nearly impossible.

Local residents shared that in several villages, two to four feet of water is still standing. This is not merely waterlogging; it is a crisis for their very future. Farming has come to a halt, cattle have no fodder, and the few surviving animals are battling hunger and disease. The farmers’ greatest challenge now is to remove the stagnant water. Government help took time to arrive, and so the villagers decided to take matters into their own hands. They reached out to the team of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj.
Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj Becomes the Saviour of Farmers
As soon as the plea of the flood victims reached Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj, His team sprang into action. Without delay, He ordered the dispatch of the necessary equipment for drainage. The relief materials were sent from Satlok Ashram, Khamano. The work proceeded so swiftly that within twenty-four hours, the required equipment reached the affected villages.
This entire initiative was carried out under Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj’s humanitarian program ‘Annapurna Muhim’, a mission based on the commitment to feed the hungry, help the needy, and build a self-reliant society. According to the farmers, ever since the equipment arrived, they have breathed a sigh of relief. As the water began to drain away, hope returned to their fields. Villagers said this mission has brought “new life” to their land.
Technical Support 4000 Feet of Pipe and a 10 HP Motor Deployed
In three of the most affected villages of Ajnala, the relief materials sent included an impressive set of technical equipment. Among these were 4000 feet of flexible pipeline with a diameter of 6 inches. Such a long stretch was necessary to carry the stagnant water safely away from the villages. All this material has been sourced from Tulsi Underground Pipe Factory, which has been known for producing high-quality pipes for the past 18 years.

Along with it came a 10 horsepower (HP) high-capacity motor capable of pumping out water two to four feet deep with great speed. To install the motor and pipes, all necessary tools — nuts, bolts, drills, and other materials — were also provided.
The arrangement was so well-organized that local volunteers were able to start the drainage work immediately. This was not merely a relief effort but a strong step towards empowering farmers to regain control over their land and livelihood.

The owner of Tulsi Underground Pipe Factory extended full support to this noble cause. Praising the ‘Annapurna Muhim’, he said,
“Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj is doing a wonderful job. For those farmers whose lands have been destroyed by floods, this mission is a blessing. We feel proud to be a part of this initiative.” Earlier, under the guidance of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj, lakhs of feet of pipes had been donated in Haryana through the ‘Annapurna Muhim’, benefiting hundreds of flood-affected villages.
The Essence of Kabir Panth Service Give to the Hungry
The service spirit of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj is not confined to emergencies. It is deeply rooted in the divine teachings of God Kabir, Who said:
Kahai Kabir pukar ke, doy baat lakh ley।Ek Saheb ki bandagi, v bhukhon ko kuch dey।।
According to this sacred principle, the true path of devotion lies in worshipping the Supreme Being while also helping those in need. Delivering relief during natural disasters is a living example of this ideology.
