Rohnat Village: The historical and agrarian village of Rohnat in Haryana’s Bhiwani district recently faced a devastating flood that disrupted daily life and caused large-scale destruction. Continuous rainfall led to severe waterlogging in nearly 9 to 10 streets of the village and submerged vast stretches of farmland. Crops standing over hundreds of acres were destroyed, several houses developed cracks, and the drinking water supply was contaminated. The villagers were left worried about health hazards and the upcoming agricultural season.
According to the village panchayat, the flood not only damaged crops and homes but also crippled essential services. Fodder for livestock ran out, roads became impassable, and the shortage of clean drinking water created a grave situation. With little or no administrative assistance reaching the area, the villagers felt completely helpless.
The Panchayat’s Initiative
Realizing the worsening situation, the village panchayat, under the leadership of Sarpanch Hansraj, convened an emergency meeting. The members discussed possible measures to combat the crisis and unanimously decided to seek assistance from Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj, who is widely known for his humanitarian and disaster relief work across the state and the country.
Following this decision, a delegation from the village panchayat met with the followers of Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj at Barwala and submitted a formal request letter seeking help. The letter specifically asked for two high-power 20 HP motors and 12,000 feet of 8-inch pipes to drain out the floodwater and restore normalcy to the village.
Immediate Response and Dispatch of Relief
The followers of Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj promptly presented the letter before Him, and within just 24 hours, approval was granted from Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj for full assistance. By the next morning, truckloads of relief materials began arriving at Rohnath village.

The consignment included two Kirloskar 20 HP motors, 12,000 feet of 8-inch pipes, electric starters, cables, and wiring equipment, everything required for an immediate and efficient water drainage operation. This entire relief effort was carried out under the ‘Annapurna Sewa Mission’, a service initiative dedicated to assisting disaster-affected regions.
Relief Work Execution
The relief materials were formally handed over to the village panchayat in the presence of local elders, members of the panchayat, and hundreds of villagers. Upon inspection, the panchayat confirmed that all the equipment was of high quality, well-packed, and supplied in full quantity. Additional spare parts were also provided to ensure that the operation could continue smoothly without interruptions.
Soon after receiving the materials, villagers, along with volunteers, began installing the motors and pipelines. Teams were formed to manage the drainage work, and operations continued through the night. By the next day, floodwater had started receding from several areas of the village, bringing visible relief and hope to the residents.
Villagers’ Reaction to the Assistance
The panchayat described the relief as an unprecedented humanitarian gesture. Most villagers expressed deep gratitude, stating that the speed and transparency with which the help arrived were commendable. The high-quality equipment and the organization’s prompt action strengthened their faith that true service lies not in words but in deeds.

Farmers said they would now be able to prepare their fields again soon. Houses began to dry, repair work started, and schools were being readied to reopen. After weeks of despair, the village finally witnessed an atmosphere of optimism and gratitude.
Quality and Transparency
The equipment provided under the relief package was top-grade. The panchayat noted that the Kirloskar company motors supplied were among the best available and that each set cost around 1.75 lakh rupees. Along with the motors, the package included complete accessories connectors, bands, L-points, and wiring making the setup fully operational.
This ensured that villagers did not have to make any extra arrangements or expenses. The transparent, well-organized delivery process was appreciated by everyone present.
A Growing Humanitarian Network
The relief sent to Rohnat is part of a much larger ongoing humanitarian campaign led by Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj’s followers. According to sources, several other flood-affected villages across Haryana and nearby states have also sent requests for assistance, and many of them are currently being processed.

This continuous, round-the-clock relief initiative is being run purely through voluntary service and public contribution, with the objective of helping the maximum number of affected families.
Moving Toward a Permanent Solution
More than just temporary relief, this assistance created a long-term infrastructure for the village. The new motors and pipelines established a sustainable drainage mechanism, which can now be used whenever heavy rainfall or flood-like conditions occur in the future.
Following the installation, the panchayat resolved that these assets would be maintained collectively and used for community benefit. A special committee has been formed within the panchayat to oversee the upkeep and operation of the equipment to ensure long-term utility.
A Village Reborn
After nearly three weeks of suffering, Rohnat village is finally breathing in relief. The once waterlogged streets are now dry, farmers have returned to their fields, and children can once again play outside. Where there was fear and helplessness, there is now hope and unity.
Villagers say that when all other doors seemed closed, the help from Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj brought them a new lease of life. The panchayat extended heartfelt thanks to Him and His followers for their timely and selfless service.
