Along with awareness sessions, mandatory safety protocols, committee formation, staff training, and reporting mechanisms, the campaign places emphasis on creating safer learning environments and reinforcing schools’ responsibility in preventing and responding to cases of child abuse.

Strengthening Child Safety Across Delhi Schools

The city-wide POCSO awareness campaign brings together awareness programmes, mandatory safety measures, institutional safeguards, teacher training, student education, and community participation under a common child protection framework. Through July’s POCSO Awareness Month, the Delhi government aims to strengthen school safety systems while promoting awareness of child protection responsibilities across government and private educational institutions.

Spiritual Values Begin in Childhood

Beyond institutional safety measures, many spiritual traditions also emphasise that moral values and respectful behaviour should be nurtured from an early age. Followers of Tatvadarshi Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj regard Him as a Complete Saint and believe that His scripturally based spiritual discourses help instill values such as compassion, self-discipline, respect for women, and freedom from intoxicants.

They believe children who grow up with such spiritual guidance develop greater moral responsibility and an awareness that one’s actions are accountable before God, encouraging respectful conduct towards others and contributing to a safer and more ethical society.
