How did the Villagers Reach the Shelter of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj?
When about 250 acres of fertile land in the village was submerged in 3 to 4 feet of deep water, and even after knocking on the doors of the administration, only hollow assurances were received, the village Panchayat took a final decision. Dejected and disappointed, but holding onto a last ray of hope in their hearts, the villagers of Sandlana reached the feet of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj with their agony.
They prayed that now only He could save this drowning village. Their call did not go unheard, and the Saint issued orders for assistance with immediate effect.
Key Highlights:
- 250 acres of land in Sandlana village of Hisar was completely submerged in floodwater.
- Upon receiving no help from the administration and leaders, the Panchayat contacted Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj.
- Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj sent 15 horsepower motors and pipelines within 24 to 48 hours.
- Relief material included minute details like starters, nuts-bolts, and connectors (sundiya).
- Floodwater was pumped out and released into the canal, making wheat sowing possible.
- Poor families in the village, where deaths occurred due to lightning strikes, were given financial and food assistance.
- Villagers compared Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj to the farmers’ Messiah, Sir Chhotu Ram.
- Both Banbhauri and Sandlana villages benefited from this mega-relief campaign.
Sandlana drowned in the darkness of despair
A few months ago, the condition of Sandlana village was extremely pitiable. About 250 acres of land were waterlogged. The water was so deep that the previous crop had completely rotted, and there seemed to be no possibility for the next crop, especially wheat sowing. Farmers were on the verge of destitution for every single grain.
The indifference of the administration acted as salt on their wounds. There was helplessness everywhere, but the intervention of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj turned this helplessness into hope.
Instant and Massive Aid by Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj
A miracle happened as soon as the villagers’ plea reached Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj. Within just 24 to 48 hours, a huge convoy of relief material reached the ‘Jai Baba Maujnath Gaushala’ in Sandlana.

The aid sent by the Saint was not just symbolic; it contained the arrangement for a complete solution to the problem. 1000 feet of high-quality 8-inch pipeline and two extremely powerful 15 horsepower motors were handed over to the village.
Micro-planning and Complete Material Distribution
The greatest feature of the aid sent by Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj was its attention to detail. Often in relief work, the main machines arrive, but one has to wander for small parts. But look at the kindness of the Saint, that along with the motors, starters, connectors, and even every single nut and bolt were sent along. This planned assistance shows how deeply concerned the Saint is for His devotees and farmers.
Gratitude of Sarpanch Ishwar Singh
Village Sarpanch Ishwar Singh stated that a month and a half ago, the situation in the village was terrifying. There was 3-4 feet of standing water in 200 acres. Let alone harvesting crops, it was arduous to even enter the fields. He said, “Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj gave us the entire pipeline and motors. With that help, we drained the water, and today our land has dried up.
We have even sown wheat. The entire village thanks Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj from the bottom of their hearts for solving this problem. This is a work of great virtue for us.”
Farmers Received a ‘Lifeline’

Village elders Zora Singh and Om Prakash Ji described this help as a ‘lifeline’ (Jeevandaan) for the farmers. They said that for a farmer, his land is everything. If there is no crop, he drowns in debt, cannot pay his children’s fees, and cattle also die of hunger. The service given by Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj has given a new life to the farmer. They said that the work the government should have done, the Saint did.

Convergence of Technology and Hard Work
The motors given by Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj worked day and night. The villagers, making excellent use of the pipes, drained the stubborn water accumulated in the fields into the nearby canal. Work that government machinery could not do in weeks was completed in a few days with the inspiration and resources of the Saint. Today, on the land where boats once needed to be rowed, wheat crops are flourishing, and white birds are landing for irrigation.
Sentiments of the Youth and other Villagers
Village youths Pradeep and Virender said that with the help of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj, not only was farming saved, but financial devastation was also averted. Pradeep mentioned that an attempt was made earlier by collecting donations in the village, but those funds were sent to Punjab, and after that, the village drowned again.
In such a situation, collecting donations again was not possible. Then Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj arrived as God. Virender said that if this help had not been received, there would not have been a single grain of wheat; it would have been a double loss.
Wiped the Tears of Poor Families
The compassion of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj was not limited only to the fields. Pradeep from the village mentioned that during the floods, deaths occurred in some poor families of the village due to electrocution. Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj took personal care of those victim families and sent them food materials and financial assistance. This act shows that the heart of the Saint beats for every suffering person.
Banbhauri Village also Received Support
This tragedy was not limited to Sandlana alone; the nearby Banbhauri village was also in its grip. Both villages benefited from the aid sent by Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj. The waterlogging at the border of Banbhauri and Sandlana, which had taken the form of a ‘pond’, was dried up and made cultivable.
Villagers said that the Saint also arranged for lights here and had a permanent pipeline laid underground so that such a problem does not arise in the future.
Legacy of Sir Chhotu Ram and Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj
Villagers emotionally stated that if anyone has understood the true pain of farmers after Sir Chhotu Ram, it is Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj. A villager named Krishna said that there is a loss of 70,000 to 1 lakh rupees per acre. The Saint saved that loss from happening. He described it as “service without reward,” where the Saint sacrificed everything with a selfless spirit.
