For nearly 20 years, the farmers of Kasot Panchayat in the Deeg district of Rajasthan lived through an endless nightmare. Over 500 bighas of exceptionally fertile agricultural land spanning across villages like Khairpur, Nahar Ka Bas, Barawas, Halai, Sarod, and Mirgavas had been swallowed by a massive, stagnant body of water.
What used to be productive fields transformed into an untouchable lake. Generation after generation of farmers saw successive governments come and go with empty political promises, while local families fell deeper into inescapable debt and absolute poverty. With no official help from the administration, the future of the village children looked utterly dark.
The 72-Hour Mobilization of Resources
When all governmental doors closed, the desperate village panchayat took their final plea to the spiritual court of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj. The response was not just swift; it was unprecedented. While official channels typically waste months in red tape, Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj deployed a massive fleet of heavy-duty machinery within a mere 72 hours.
To pull the drowned lands out of the crisis, a monumental relief consignment consisting of roughly 10 kilometers (31,660 feet) of robust 8-inch piping was rushed to the site. Along with it, eleven 10 HP motors, a high-capacity 20 HP pumping unit, and seven powerful tractor coupling sets were set up to overcome local power shortages. Understanding that the local population was completely broke, the Sant fully sponsored the heavy generator rentals and entire diesel fuel expenses.
The Resurrection of Agriculture and Livelihoods
The massive drainage operation relentlessly pushed millions of gallons of water away from the fields and into the main district canals. As the dry soil re-emerged, the villages erupted in celebration. Out of the severely affected zone, around 700 bighas of land were quickly reclaimed and successfully sown with wheat and mustard crops.
Villagers paid thanks to Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj
The emotional ground reports from Sarpanch and local residents like Balveer Singh and Mahanavi Singh highlight that the intervention literally saved the community from starvation. Today, the village projects a bumper harvest valued between ₹1 crore to ₹1.5 crore. For the farmers of Khairpur, this structural miracle has not only cleared their long-standing debts but has effectively restored the basic right to feed their families.
