Not long ago, the village of Dhiranwas in the Hisar district of Haryana faced a devastating crisis. A breach in a nearby drain unleashed a torrent of water that submerged approximately 1,200 acres of agricultural land. The flood was so severe that in many places, the water stood three to four feet deep, completely drowning the standing crops.
For the farmers, whose livelihoods depend entirely on their harvest, the situation was dire. Houses in the low-lying colonies were on the verge of collapse, and families feared for their safety. Despite the magnitude of the disaster, the villagers received no aid from the administration or the government. Hope was rapidly fading, and the villagers felt abandoned to their fate.
The Divine Intervention: His Generosity Beyond Expectations
In this hour of darkness, the village Sarpanch and a committee of villagers turned to the only source of hope left: Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj. They approached Him with a humble request for aid, asking for Two 10-horsepower motors and 2,000 feet of pipe to help drain the water.

Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj with His divine foresight, recognized that their ask was insufficient for the scale of the disaster, exceeding their demands. He immediately provided three large 15-horsepower motors and 5,000 feet of 8-inch pipeline, along with all necessary starters and cables.
He acted swiftly, ensuring the equipment reached the village within three days, far ahead of the ten-day timeline He had initially given. He took it upon Himself to ensure that the water was drained completely so the farmers could return to their lives.
The Transformation: A Miracle on the Ground
The impact of His intervention was immediate and transformative. The powerful motors and extensive pipelines worked day and night to pump the floodwaters out of the fields and into the canals. Where there was once a vast expanse of stagnant water, dry land began to emerge.

Today, the landscape of Dhiranwas has changed completely. The fields that were once submerged under four feet of water are now lush with greenery. Farmers have successfully sown wheat, and the crops have already begun to sprout. The joy on the faces of the villagers is palpable as tractors run across fields that were previously inaccessible. Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj turned a scene of devastation into one of productivity and hope.
Voices of Gratitude: The Villagers Speak
The transformation of Dhiranwas is best described by those who lived through the trauma.
- Ramvir Singh (Sarpanch Representative):
Ramvir Singh describes the event as nothing short of a miracle. He recalls how 700 to 800 acres were completely underwater, with no place to even set foot. “We call Him the ‘Kisan Masiha’ (Messiah of Farmers),” he says. “He did what no government or politician did. He worked on the ground and delivered results. This is a charisma that only He could perform.” - Ved Prakash (Farmer):
Standing in his field where he is now sowing wheat, Ved Prakash shares his relief. “There was 4 feet of water here. If He had not provided the motors and pipes, we would have been ruined for years. Today, my heart is satisfied, and I am happy.” - Ashok Kumar (Resident):
Ashok Kumar highlights the speed of the recovery. “Because of His blessings, 90% of the water is gone, and sowing is 80% complete. He saved us from falling into a debt trap that would have set us back by three years.” - Sharda (Tai Ji):
Perhaps the most moving testimony comes from an elderly resident, Sharda Ji. With tears in her eyes, she recounts the horror of living in a submerged home for five months. “We had no hope. We were ready to die,” she says emotionally. “But Sant Rampal Ji saved us. He gave us food, He drained the water, and He gave us life. Even our children will never forget His benevolence.”
Real Impact
India is a nation where a large proportion of the populace relies on agriculture as their primary source of income. Each farmer is dependent on the forces of nature for their continued existence. When such calamities strike the most vulnerable segment of society, the consequences are not confined locally but impact the entire nation, both directly and indirectly.
The financial losses sustained by these farmers amounted to crores of rupees, and their distress was largely ignored. Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj was the only individual who paid attention to their plight and resolved to take action. His subsequent actions have fundamentally redefined the concepts of charity and devotion.
A New Dawn
The floodwaters had drowned the dreams of Dhiranwas, but Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj became their savior. By providing a permanent solution where others turned a blind eye. Today, Dhiranwas stands flood-free and flourishing, a living testament to the compassion and power of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj.
Around 600 years ago God Kabir said, “Ek Saheb Ki Bandagi, Aur Bhooko Ko Kuch De”, which means that true worship gives prayer and charity equal footing in the pursuit to salvation. And today Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj is continuing his legacy.
