The story of Devarad in Julana Tehsil is one of pure resilience and divine compassion. It is a story of a time when farmers were heartbroken, forced to sell their beloved livestock simply because there was no fodder left to feed them. Today, Devarad stands as a testament to the fact that when all earthly systems fail, true spiritual leadership steps in.
The Catastrophe of Starvation
Recently, 80% of Devarad was swallowed by floodwaters. Around 300 acres of fertile land were hidden under a 5-foot deep deluge.
The Cattle Crisis: The most painful part was the rotting of fodder (Jowar). Farmers, who treat their cattle like children, were weeping as they sold them to save them from starvation.
Administrative Silence: Despite numerous pleas, the administration offered no solution. The village was on the brink of a total economic collapse.
A Historic Decree of Compassion
When the village youth approached Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj after seeing the ‘Annapurna Muhim‘ on social media, the response from Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj was legendary. He halted all ongoing construction work at His Ashrams and ordered that the funds be used immediately for the farmers of Devarad.

Within 5 days, a massive relief convoy reached the village with:
- 10,000 feet of heavy-duty piping.
- A powerful 20 HP Motor and a complete accessory kit.
From Lake to Lush Greenery
The massive 20 HP motor worked tirelessly, purging the stagnant water from the fields. Today, the landscape of Devarad has changed. Not only is the wheat sowing complete, but the first irrigation is already underway. To ensure a permanent shield against future floods, the villagers have buried the pipeline underground, turning a temporary relief into a lifelong asset.
The Voice of the People
“Even a biological father wouldn’t do this much for his children,” said an emotional elderly farmer. Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj has not only saved their crops but has restored the soul of Devarad.
