The story of Barsi Jatan village in Haryana’s Bhiwani district is not just about submerged fields, but about restoring broken faith, which was re-established by Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj’s ‘Flood Relief Service Campaign’. The village fields were submerged under 3 to 5 feet of water, completely destroying the standing crops, and the hope for the next wheat crop was also drowned. Finding no solution from government offices, the Gram Panchayat, led by Sarpanch Satish Kumar, gathered information about Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj’s relief work happening in a neighboring village.

It is in no way a small thing that thousands of people have started calling Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj God. There is deep thought and contemplation behind this. Their minds must have turned over a thousand times before granting the status of God to Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj. This is the same land of Haryana where, at one time, there was strong opposition to Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj’s ideology’s. Now, these gentle words towards Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj, the mementos and other gifts being presented, and the status of God have a huge significance in themselves.

To understand this, you also need to sit and ponder, to reflect on what the reason for the opposition was then, and what we were being shown and told then, when the truth has come before the world today. The answers to this single question contain many facts.
Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj’s Special Request Letter
While handing over the relief material, a special request letter was given to the Gram Panchayat on behalf of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj. This letter was a strict instruction for the villagers, ensuring the proper use of the money donated by Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj’s disciples.
Key Points of the Request Letter:
- Immediate Drainage: Upon receiving the material, the villagers must collectively and quickly remove the water from the village so that the next wheat crop can be sown.
- Consequence if Water is Not Removed: If the water is not removed and the crop is not sown within the stipulated time with the provided material, Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj will not provide any further assistance to the village.
- Option for More Material: If necessary, the villagers can request more essential items from Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj, as He has stated that no matter how much material is needed, the water must be removed from the village.
- Proof of Service: The Trust has made a drone video of the waterlogged village. A second video will be made after the water is removed, and a third video will be made when the crop is flourishing. These three videos will be shown in congregations to assure the devotees that their donations are not misused.

- Suggestion to Bury Underground: The villagers were requested to bury these pipes on their land so that whenever it rains and the water collects, they can immediately start the motor and remove the water.
- Disaster Prevention: In this way, this system will permanently solve the flood problem, preventing damage to the current crop and any loss in sowing the next crop.
Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj has said that He Himself comes from a farmer’s family and understands the pain of farmers. His gentle heart fills with sorrow upon seeing others in distress. Just as a mother cannot see her child unhappy, similarly, for the Saint, everyone is like a child, and He cannot see us in pain.
As it is also said,
Tvamēva mātā ca pitā tvamēva,
Tvamēva bandhuśca sakhā tvamēva.
Meaning: You are my Mother, and You are my Father, You are my relative, and You are my friend, You are my true companion, You are also my God.) It is with this Bhagwan (God) title that the people of Barsi Jatan village addressed Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj.
