What is the FASTag Annual Pass 3000?
- The all new FASTag Annual Pass is a breakthrough announcement to enhance travel experience for frequent road travelers.
- This FASTag Annual Pass details – Value: INR 3000, Validity: 200 Trips or 1 year whichever is earlier.
- The crossing of toll once shall be considered as one trip.
- It eases travelling through toll plazas on National Highways by ensuring a single and prepaid transaction for tolls.
How Does This Pass Operate?
- This pass will link automatically to the existing FASTag system which uses RFID Technology.
- Recent toll plazas are equipped with ANPR FASTag-Based Barrier-Less tolling system.
- This system combines Automatic Number Plate Reader (ANPR) Cameras with RFID based FASTag readers for upgrading travelling experience and reducing congestion on roads and at toll plazas which are close to each other.
- Users shall be allowed to activate and renew their passes before travel through portals available on the website of NHAI, MoRTH and Rajmarg Yatra App.
- In case of non-payment and non-compliance, necessary action, such as e-notices and VAHAN sanctions shall be imposed including the suspension of FASTags as well.
