In village Mandhnaka (also referred to as Mandanaka), located in the Palwal district of Haryana, a severe waterlogging crisis had persisted for several consecutive years due to the complete absence of a permanent rainwater drainage outlet.

Standing rainwater submerged extensive tracks of fertile agricultural land, rendering them uncultivable. According to village residents and local farmers, an area ranging between 800 and 1,000 acres (with specific estimates by some residents exceeding 500 acres) remained continuously inundated for 8 to 9 years, completely preventing regular crop sowing.

The prolonged accumulation of water resulted in significant socio-economic losses for both farmers and cattle rearers across Mandhnaka:

  • Food Grain Shortage: The inability to cultivate crops over multiple seasons created an acute shortage of food grains for household consumption.
  • Livestock Crisis: The lack of green fodder forced livestock owners to sell off their cattle due to unmanageable feed expenses.
  • Structural Damage: Continuous water accumulation around the village caused structural damage to residential dwellings.
  • Financial Distress: Total loss of agricultural income left farmers unable to pay the school fees of their children.

Execution Steps Under Kisan Mazdoor Bachao Abhiyan Phase 2

To establish a permanent resolution to the waterlogging crisis, the Gram Panchayat of Mandhnaka submitted a formal request for assistance to Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj under the Kisan Mazdoor Bachao Abhiyan Phase 2. Following the application, a multi-stage execution protocol was carried out:

  • Ground Survey: Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj dispatched an official survey team to perform a physical inspection of the waterlogged terrain in Mandhnaka.
  • Requirement Assessment: The survey team concluded that the drainage project required 20,000 feet of pipeline and two 20 HP heavy-duty electric motors.
  • Phase 1 Pipeline Distribution: Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj approved the survey findings and ordered the free distribution of 20,000 feet of pipeline along with preliminary installation materials.
  • Underground Installation: Gram Panchayat representatives and village residents laid the 20,000 feet pipeline underground along a designated route, creating a direct drainage conduit to the Gurgaon Canal (Gurugram Canal).
  • Re-survey and Technical Audit: Upon completion of the piping work, the survey team re-inspected the site on the ground to verify that the pipeline met technical standards and was fully operational.
  • Phase 2 Machinery Approval: Following the approval of the re-survey report, Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj sanctioned the handover of two 20 HP motors and all corresponding technical hardware.

Technical Specifications of Distributed Machinery and Assembly Hardware

Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj provided the complete inventory of heavy machinery and fitting accessories to Gram Panchayat Mandhnaka 100 percent free of cost, requiring zero financial contribution from the local farmers or the panchayat fund.

The inventory handed over to the village included:

  • Heavy-Duty Pumping Motors: Two 20 HP electric water motors.
  • Electrical Starters: Two motor starters manufactured by L&T (Larsen & Toubro) Company.
  • Suction Pipes: Two 20-foot suction pipes.
  • Electrical Wiring: Heavy-duty electrical cable wire of required length and capacity.
  • Pipe Fittings: Heavy iron bends, reducers, PVC pipes, and connecting plates.
  • Valves and Clamps: Air valves, mounting clamps, and rubber gaskets (jain).
  • Fasteners: Rust-resistant modern stainless steel nut-and-bolt sets.
  • Branded Accessories: Full set of branded joining hardware required for motor installation.

Prior to the official transfer of the machinery, a Mangalacharan prayer was recited, after which the survey team formally delivered the entire inventory to Gram Panchayat officials and village elders.

Layout of Drainage Lines and Future Application Plans

Utilizing the 20,000 feet pipeline supplied by Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj, the residents of Mandhnaka constructed a total of three distinct drainage lines connected to the Gurgaon Canal:

  • Operational Lines: Two of the three lines have been fitted with the two 20 HP heavy-duty motors provided by Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj, enabling active water pumping into the Gurgaon Canal.
  • Third Drainage Line: The physical piping for a third drainage line was laid using the same 20,000 feet pipeline network. The Gram Panchayat of Mandhnaka plans to submit a separate application to Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj to request an additional motor to operationalize the third line.

Scope of Allied Campaigns and Rural Coverage Metrics

The relief operations in Mandhnaka form part of three synchronized campaigns conducted under the guidance of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj:

  • Kisan Mazdoor Bachao Abhiyan Phase 2 (Save Farmer Worker Campaign Phase 2)
  • Shuddh Peyjal Seva Abhiyan (Pure Drinking Water Service Campaign)
  • Pashudhan Bachao Shuddh Jal Pilao Abhiyan (Save Livestock Drink Pure Water Campaign)

Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj instructed all field teams that all service endeavors must focus strictly on verifiable ground-level execution rather than superficial publicity. Under these three initiatives combined, Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj has provided water management, pipeline laying, and drinking water relief to many villages to date, with field operations continuing across affected rural regions.

Direct Statements from Local Residents and Gram Panchayat Officials

During the official handover event, local farmers and Gram Panchayat members provided verified statements regarding the relief project:

  • Resident Statements: Local elders noted that Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj provided direct delivery of heavy pipelines and motors directly to their village at zero cost, stating that the intervention proved more effective than government procedures and created the framework to restore 800 to 1,000 acres of submerged farmland.
  • Panchayat Representative Statements: Panchayat members highlighted that even small assembly components, such as modern stainless steel bolts designed to prevent rusting and ease mechanical handling for farmers, were supplied entirely free of charge.

Rehabilitation of 1000 Acres of Arable Land and Economic Recovery in Mandhnaka

The delivery of 20,000 feet of pipeline and two 20 HP heavy-duty motors provided by Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj establishes a functional drainage system connecting the submerged fields of Mandhnaka directly to the Gurgaon Canal.

By evacuating standing rainwater from 800 to 1,000 acres of agricultural land that had remained uncultivable for 8 to 9 years, this help from Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj enables local farmers to resume crop sowing, restores fodder availability for livestock, and stabilizes the rural agricultural economy of Mandhnaka village.
