This flood havoc not only destroyed the Kharif crops but also washed away the hopes for Rabi (wheat) sowing. When the government machinery and ministers’ assurances failed, Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj appeared as a savior and, with His boundless grace, resettled the desolate village of Garhi.

While government aid files remain stuck on desks for months, Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj dispatched a massive convoy of relief material to Garhi village as soon as He heard the plea of the villagers. On His behalf, approximately 20,000 feet of high-quality 8-inch pipeline and initially three powerful 15-HP motors were sent. Later, seeing the severity of the waterlogging, He provided another massive 20-HP motor.
The greatest feature of this assistance was His strict order that the villagers should not have to buy even a single screw from outside; therefore, cables, starters, pipe-joining solution (adhesive), and all other necessary tools were also provided free of cost.

The machines accomplished the impossible task that the administration could not achieve in months. Garhi village, which had turned into an ocean, saw its water successfully drained 2.5 kilometers away into a drain.
Today, the situation is such that the village streets are dry, the path to the cremation ground has opened, and wheat crops are smiling in the fields. According to the Sarpanch representative, the Panchayat has now permanently installed the 20-HP motor and laid the line underground so that such a calamity never occurs in the future.

Kuldeep Ji, an elderly farmer of the village, says emotionally that the farmers were so deeply mired in debt and ruin that they had no option left but suicide. He says, “He did not just give us pipes and motors, but He gave a new lease of life to at least 200 farmers by saving them from dying.” Farmer Krishna Ji, whose 5 acres of land were submerged with the paddy crop, says that by His grace, a part of his old crop was saved, and now the wheat sowing has also been done on time.
