Nangla Khari village of Govardhan tehsil of Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh and about 20 surrounding villages were suffering from the double blow of nature’s fury and administrative neglect.

The water filled in the fields drowned the hopes of farmers every year. Children were not able to go to school, there was no fodder for animals, and it became difficult to light the stove in homes. When generations got tired of hollow promises of leaders and wandering in dusty offices, then a force held their hand, whom today the villagers are calling ‘messiah of farmers’ and ‘God in human form’. This is the story of the benevolence of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj, which brought life again into dying aspirations.
Scene of Helplessness: When Fertile Land Itself Became A Burden
The condition of Nangla Khari was such that a farmer stood on his own fertile land and shed helpless tears. Village representative Mehtab Kuntal and social worker Deepak Chaudhary say that people had lost after making rounds of the administration. Leaders would come, get photos clicked, and leave after giving assurances, but water remained standing on the ground as it was.
The situation was such that farmers did not even have money left to pay the school fees of children. The entire area of 10 kilometers was struggling with the problem of waterlogging, due to which not only crops were destroyed, but livestock also came under crisis. Villagers say that they were “dying while living” due to this problem.
One Application of Hope And Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj Did A Miracle In 3 Days
When darkness was seen all around, then the villagers placed an application of hope at the feet of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj. Villagers first went to the Mundka ashram of Delhi and then expressed their pain in Bharatpur. Here no long process of government files took place.
Sant Ji immediately heard their suffering and within just three to four days a huge convoy of relief was standing in the streets of Nangla Khari. For villagers, this was nothing less than a miracle that the problem which was not solved for years was on the path of solution in a few days by the grace of a Saint.
Extreme Service: From Nail To Pipe Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj Gave Everything Free of Cost

The biggest feature of the service of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj was that He did not let even a single rupee burden come on the panchayat. Sevadars clearly stated that from the rent of trucks to the Fevicol used to stick pipes and nut-bolts, the entire expense has been borne by Sant Ji Himself.
Even in those areas where there is no electricity, Sant Ji is getting water drained through generators by burning diesel worth 4-5 lakh rupees daily at His own expense.

“We Are Coming Alive While Dying”: Villagers Became Emotional Seeing The Service of The Saint
As soon as the convoy of sevadars of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj entered the village, a historic scene was seen. Mothers and sisters showered flowers from the roofs of houses. Elders presented a turban on the statue of Sant Ji, which is considered a symbol of a farmer’s honor. Villagers said, “We had only heard the name, today we have seen the work also.
He is God in human form.” There was an atmosphere like Holi-Diwali in the village. People believe that Sant Ji has not only saved their crops, but also their generations, because now their children will be able to go to school again.
Smile Returned In Nangla Khari Through The Service, Dedication, And Compassion of The Saint
This story of Nangla Khari proves that where the government system and big preachers fail, there only a true Saint stands as a shield. The clear order of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj is that “there should be work on ground level, not show.” He not only provided material, but also ensured that water is drained from the fields and crops flourish. Sant Ji Himself belongs to a farmer family, therefore He understands the pain of farmers very well.
Today in the fields of Nangla Khari, there is not silence, but a new hope of prosperity. As the villagers said—such selfless service can be done only by a complete Saint, who is engaged day and night in human welfare without any political interest or desire for votes. Truly, living is to be useful to others.
