The Painful Story of Behlba Village: From Waterlogging in Lands to Flourishing Crops
SHARE

Behlba village, a historic village in Rohtak district of Haryana, divided into two panchayats—Behlba and Behlba Bajan—has written a story today that can move anyone emotionally. This is not just a story of floods and destruction, but of hope, unity, and timely help.

Around 1,000 acres of land remained submerged under water for months. The standing crops were completely destroyed. Farmers had only one question in their eyes—what will happen next? The hope of sowing wheat had almost vanished.

Villagers say they knocked on every door—from administration to political leaders—but received only assurances, no real help. Slowly, hope began to fade, and despair engulfed the entire village.

When All Hope Was Lost, No Help Arrived

The pain is clearly reflected in the words of the villagers. One farmer shared that he, along with Behlba Bajan’s Sarpanch representative Bhim Pehalwan, kept pleading for three days just for a motor, but no one listened. They approached political leaders from both opposition and ruling parties, but no help came. People visited, saw the situation, and left.

The fields were filled with water ranging from 5 to 9 feet deep. In some places, even rooms were submerged. Farmers had begun to believe that the water might not drain even after a year. The situation became so severe that farmers were surrounded by debt, hunger, and uncertainty about the future.

A Ray of Hope: Appeal to Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj

When all avenues failed, the sarpanches of both panchayats and some villagers together submitted an application to Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj. The villagers only made a simple request. No one imagined that such a massive problem could be resolved so quickly. But what happened next surprised the entire village.

The Transformation in Just Three Days

Within just three days of submitting the application, a long convoy of trucks entered the village. In a very short span, the village received resources beyond imagination:

  • 50,000 feet of 8-inch pipes
  • 7 powerful 15 HP motors
  • Complete water drainage equipments

The Behlba panchayat received 30,000 feet of pipes and 4 motors, while Behlba Bajan received 20,000 feet of pipes and 3 motors.

When the relief material reached the villagers, they became emotional and said: “What the government was supposed to do, a saint accomplished.”

Voices of Pain and Relief of the Villagers

Sarpanch representative Bhim Pehalwan said: “There was 5–6 feet of water in our fields. We had no hope of sowing wheat. But today the water of our fields is drained, and sowing is happening in every field.”

Sarpanch Satpal added: “We submitted the application to Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj and within just three days all the flood relief materials had reached the village. This is nothing short of a miracle for us.”

Farmer Umesh shared: “Earlier there was only water. Now the entire field has turned green. Without the help of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj, we would have been ruined.”

Another farmer said: “We had 30 acres of land, all submerged. Without the help of Sant Rampal Ji, we would have been finished. Now we can recover our expenses and have hope again.”

Day and Night Efforts and Collective Action

The motors worked day and night to remove the water from the fields. Within about one and a quarter months, water was drained from more than 150 acres of land.

Miracle-Like Scenes: Wheat Growing Where There Was Water

The land that once had 9 feet of water is now sprouting wheat. Many farmers said they had only scattered seeds on the surface, without hope. But today, those very seeds have grown into thriving crops.

An elderly farmer (Tau Ji) shared: “There were just two inches of water left. I drove the tractor through it and sowed the seeds. Today every single grain has sprouted. I have never seen anything like this before.”

Social Impact: From Despair to Confidence

This entire event completely transformed the social condition of the village:

  • Farmers regained confidence
  • Relief from the burden of debt
  • Strengthened unity and cooperation in the village
  • A permanent drainage solution (pipeline) was established

Many farmers admitted that without help, they had even thought about suicide. Today, those same farmers proudly say: “We are back on our feet again.”

Gratitude Towards Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj

Today, every villager is filled with gratitude for Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj. For the villagers, this help was not just relief—it was a lifeline.

With compassion and selflessness, Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj set a new example of social service. He not only provided resources but also gave farmers a new direction—that no matter how big the problem is, it can be solved with the right support. His initiative has created a new identity in Haryana, where timely help to the needy has become a priority.

Villagers say that if there is a true well-wisher on Earth today, it is Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj.

When True Saints and Society Unite, Solutions Emerge

The story of Behlba village is not just about one village—it carries a message for the entire society. It shows that no matter how big the crisis is, with timely help and collective effort, situations can change. Where once there was a sea of water, today green wheat fields are waving. Smiles have returned to farmers’ faces.

This story stands as living proof that when true saints step forward for the welfare of society, even the biggest disasters bow before their compassion. At present, Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj is the only Saint who did not look at religion, caste, followers, or social status. Instead, He embraced everyone by seeing their pain, tears, and suffering, and worked for their welfare.

Today, thousands of families are receiving food, ration, housing, clothing, medical care, and education under the Annapurna Muhim. It is difficult to even count how many villages have benefited from the donations worth crores that Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj has contributed for rural development.

He is the only Sant who has not taken wealth from society but has instead given in charity. Society will always remain grateful to Him.
