Bhatgaon Dungran village, located in Sonipat district of Haryana, had been facing severe flooding and prolonged waterlogging for a long time. Responding to the distress call of the villagers in this critical situation, Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj once again extended support through Annapurna Muhim.

Horrifying Situation of Waterlogging and Snake Terror in Bhatgaon Dungran
The conditions in and around Bhatgaon Dungran had deteriorated to such an extent that it became extremely difficult for villagers to step out of their homes. Due to prolonged waterlogging, crops in the fields were completely destroyed, and dark clouds loomed over the sowing of the next crop as well.
Because there was no proper drainage, the village witnessed a frightening rise in venomous snakes. Villagers shared that dozens of snakes were often found coiled around the water pumping motors. One villager narrated a terrifying incident in which an elderly person, while sleeping, had a snake crawl onto his leg, creating an atmosphere of fear across the entire village.
School going children and livestock were also severely affected, as waterlogged roads and hidden creatures posed a constant threat to life.
Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj Sends Relief Materials for the Second Time
When villagers received no concrete assistance from the government machinery or other sources, they appealed to Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj. Taking serious note of the issue, Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj dispatched a relief convoy to Bhatgaon Dungran under Annapurna Muhim. This marked the second phase of assistance for the village.
Earlier, Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj had sent 18,000 feet (approximately 5,486 metres) of pipes and four powerful motors for two village panchayats, Bhatgaon Malyan and Bhatgaon Dungran. However, considering the severity of the waterlogging, villagers requested help once again. This time, Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj sent an additional 2,000 feet (approximately 610 metres) of pipes along with a massive 15 HP motor.
With this, the village now has a total of 20,000 feet (approximately 6,096 metres) of pipes and five large motors, enabling water drainage work to continue at a war footing.
Annapurna Muhim: Protecting Crops and the Future of Farmers
Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj launched Annapurna Muhim especially for farmers and regions affected by disasters such as floods. In Bhatgaon Dungran, the paddy crop had already been destroyed due to prolonged water accumulation. If the water had not been removed in time, sowing the next wheat crop would have become impossible.

Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj gave clear instructions that service work must not stop until water is completely drained from the last corner of the village. He also ensured that the pipes and motors provided were of high quality so that they could function effectively for a long time. Powerful motors from Crompton company and fine details such as steel nuts and bolts were carefully selected to ensure villagers would not have to worry about frequent repairs.
Service Commitment and Selfless Spirit of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj
Through Annapurna Muhim, Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj has set a unique example of social service. He has issued strict instructions to His followers and volunteers that this work must not be for public display but for delivering real, on ground results.

Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj has clearly stated that donated funds must be utilised solely for public welfare and charitable purposes. This is why, while many religious speakers limit themselves to sermons during disasters, Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj stepped directly into action with resources to protect lives and livelihoods.
So far, Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj has delivered similar relief materials to more than 300 villages across Haryana and Punjab, saving farmers from economic devastation.
Gratitude of Villagers and a Permanent Solution for the Future
The village panchayat and residents of Bhatgaon Dungran expressed heartfelt gratitude to Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj for this immense support. The village sarpanch and panchayat members honoured Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj by presenting Him with a turban and a commemorative memento.
Villagers stated that they had never witnessed such selfless service, where relief materials worth millions of rupees reached the village within just a few days of their appeal. Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj also advised villagers to lay these pipes underground permanently so that whenever heavy rainfall occurs in the future, water can be drained out immediately. This guidance is proving to be a blessing for the village, freeing it from recurring annual losses.
Message of Charity and Social Responsibility
Through this relief work, Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj conveyed the message that service to humanity is the highest form of religion. Keeping the welfare of all 36 communities in mind, He provided assistance to Bhatgaon Dungran without any discrimination.
Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj instructed volunteers to monitor the village conditions using drones so that, once the water is drained, the sight of flourishing crops can be shown to the world. This also strengthens the trust of donors, assuring them that their contributions are being used for the right purpose and in the right manner.
As a result of these efforts, Bhatgaon Dungran is not only becoming free from waterlogging, but the lost smiles are also returning to the faces of its farmers.
