In such a situation, the farmers were on the verge of sinking into a deep swamp of debt. When despair was found on all sides and no assistance was received from the government machinery or politicians, Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj emerged as the sole ray of hope.

The village Sarpanch and other prominent citizens stated that they had made every possible effort, but they were unheard everywhere. Another villager, Mukesh Ji, described it as a great social and religious work. He said that if this help had not been received, the farmer would have been completely ruined. An elderly woman of the village (Tai Ji) said, “The government and leaders disappointed us, but Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj saved our children’s future and our livelihood. Now the water will drain out, and we will be able to sow crops. Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj is like a deity to us.”
The villagers mentioned that the followers (Sevadars) of Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj not only brought the goods but also took up the task of ensuring that this system works correctly.

While handing over the relief material, the Sevadars of Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj also read out Guruji’s message before the Gram Panchayat. They clarified that Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj’s objective is not merely to show off, but to work on the ground. They also handed a request letter to the Panchayat, in which some important points were stated:
- Time-bound work: This material has been given so that water can be drained at the scheduled time and the next crop can be sown. If the water is not drained and sowing does not happen, help will not be provided by the Trust in the future.
- Transparency: A video of the water-logged village has been made by drone. After the water is drained and when the crops are swaying in the fields, a video will be made again. This video will be shown in all Ashrams and congregations so that the donors know that their money has been utilized effectively in giving “the gift of life” (Jeevan Dan).
- Collective Responsibility: This is a work for the welfare of all 36 communities (36 Biradari). All villagers must come together to drain the water as soon as possible.
- Selfless Service: Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj considers helping flood-affected farmers as the greatest virtue. He believes that only when the stove is lit in the farmer’s house, will the stove be lit in the laborer’s house too.
