- 19 flights over the last three days have been affected due to fake bomb threats. Amongst these, 7 flights were reported to be affected on Wednesday.

- Some flights were cancelled, diverted, or returned after receiving the bomb threats. Below is the list of some flights affected by the bomb threats:
- IndiGo flight 6E 74 Riyadh-Mumbai flight diverted to Muscat (Oman).
- IndiGo flight 6E 1011 Mumbai to Singapore landed at Singapore.
- IndiGo flight 6E 515 Chennai to Lucknow was isolated upon landing at Lucknow.
- IndiGo flight from Delhi to Mumbai diverted to Ahmedabad upon receiving a bomb threat.
- Akasa flight QP 1335 flying from Delhi to Bengaluru returned after getting information about bomb threats.
- Spicejet, through their social media handle X received a bomb threat in two flights and immediately responded. First route was Leh-Delhi and the other was Darbangha-Mumbai.
- On October 15th, Vistara Flight UK 161 from Delhi to Hong Kong received a bomb threat through social account. The flight safely landed in Hong Kong, and was carefully inspected before starting its operations.
- Air India Express Flight IX 437 flying from Kochi to Dubai recieved a bomb threat, landed safely in Dubai.
- Air India AI 127 flight flyong from Delhi to Chicago, diverted to Canada after recieving bomb threats.
- Air India flight IX 684 from Madurai to Singapore, landed safely at Changi Airport, Singapore, after two fighter jets escorted the flight away from a populated area.
- Five other flights on Tuesday and three flights on Monday were also affected by the fake bomb threats.
- Delhi Police has registered 6 cases in connection with fake bomb threats for flights.
- Mumbai police with the help of Rajnandgaon Police has nabbed a minor from Rajnandgaon, Chattisgarh, who was giving fake bomb threats through his fake social media account on platform X.
- Union Minister of Civil Aviation, Ram Mohan Naidu, said that the government is closely monitoring the situation. Strong actions will be taken against the accused. The minister has taken a high-level meeting in association with the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS), the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), the Ministry of Home Affairs, and the Ministry of Aviation.
