Hisar, Haryana – When a flood swallowed a village of Hisar called Ramayan, it left 4,000 people stranded. With their crops destroyed, their drinking water contaminated, and sickness spreading, their future was rotting in the stagnant water.
For two months, they pleaded for help from officials and politicians, only to receive empty promises and photo-ops. Their situation seemed utterly hopeless but a plea to Sant Rampal Ji changed it all; a rapid response that was achieved in 48 hours which filled the villagers with hope.
The Story of Ramayan Village
For two agonizing months, the people of Ramayan village watched helplessly as floodwaters swallowed their homes, fields, and futures. The situation was a catastrophe. Their crops were destroyed by floodwater, wiping out the entire agricultural season. The financial ruin was total. Farmers had not only lost this harvest but faced the terrifying reality of being unable to plant the next one.
The crisis in Ramayan village extended beyond lost crops. Contaminated drinking water became a major health hazard, leading to widespread sickness as mosquitoes proliferated in stagnant pools. Daily life for the 4,000 residents disintegrated, with children unable to attend school, health services ceasing, and community morale plummeting. The unsafe drinking water, nearly total crop destruction, and health issues affected 99% of the population, causing economic devastation and suffering across all age groups.
Ramayan’s story was just one small part of a much larger disaster. Heavy rains had flooded over 180 villages in the Hisar district, damaging 80,000 acres of crops. People were calling it the worst flood since 1995. Across the state of Haryana, the damage was staggering: nearly 30 lakh acres were ruined, affecting over 5.8 lakh farmers.
The Plea to Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj
When every door had been slammed shut and every official appeal had yielded nothing but empty promises, Sarpanch Anil Ji made a decision that would change the destiny of his village. Leading the entire Gram Panchayat, he traveled to Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj’s Office to submit a formal prayer letter. The desperation in their voices was palpable as they described their plight to the volunteers.

During the submission of the prayer letter, Sarpanch Ji explained how they’ve been trying to find a solution for the water problem for three months but nothing seemed to work.
In their petition to Sant Rampal Ji, The villagers made a request for three powerful 15 horsepower (HP) motors and 11,000 feet of 8-inch high-quality pipe to drain the floodwaters from their fields.
The villagers had heard about Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj’s “Annapurna Muhim”, a massive humanitarian initiative that had already reached over 200 flood-affected villages across Haryana and many other states.

They had seen how Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj had responded to other desperate communities with unprecedented speed and generosity. Now, with their backs against the wall and time running out, they placed their last hope in His hands.
The Response: A Village Reborn with Hope
What happened next was extraordinary. Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj received the letter and gave an immediate order: provide everything the village needs, and provide it now. His instructions were clear: no delays, no cutting corners on quality, and no shortages.

Just days later, a massive convoy of trucks and tractors began rolling toward Ramayan. The relief package by Sant Rampal Ji was comprehensive, and every single accessory from the smallest nut to the largest motor component was provided:
- Three 15 HP Motors
- 11,000 feet of premium 8-inches pipes
- Necessary accessories which included the starters for the motors, electrical cables of appropriate gauge and length, nuts and bolts of every size needed, industrial-grade adhesive to join pipe sections, valves, connectors, and sealing materials
The Message from Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj to the Villagers
The aid came with a special letter from Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj. The letter was firm: “If the water is not removed in the stipulated time… and this time the crop is not sown, then our trust will not help your village in the future.” The equipment was a permanent gift to the villagers, for which they were expected to use it effectively to drain water out of their village whenever needed again in future.

He also made it clear that if they needed more materials to finish the job, they could just make another request but they should make this a success by sowing the crops on time.
To ensure transparency, The following videos were recorded:
- Drone footage of the village while it was still flooded.
- A second video after the water was successfully drained.
- A third video showing the new crops flourishing in the fields.
These videos would be shown to the devotees of the Creator of this Universe, the Almighty God Kabir under the divine guidance of Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj to express the true power of a Tatvdarshi sant, recreating the miracles by God Kabir when He descended on this mortal planet 600 years ago.
Coming from a farming family Himself, Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj understood the farmers’ pain. His letter stressed that “if the farmer’s hearth is lit, only then will the laborer’s hearth be lit.” Saving the farmers meant saving the entire village economy.
The Impact: From Desperation to Determination
The villagers emphasized how they were completely devoid of hope, realizing they wouldn’t be able to sow the crop on time but with Sant Rampal Ji’s help, the spark of hope was ignited and they believe that the crop would be sown on time now.
To fund this massive effort, Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj had made an extraordinary decision: He halted all construction at His 12 ashrams and over 500 centers, redirecting all funds and manpower to save the flood-hit villages. His priority was clear: human welfare came before institutional expansion.
Amidst the 2025 floods, the official response was slow, leaving farmers facing a lost season due to bureaucratic delays. While villagers pleaded unsuccessfully with officials, Sant Rampal Ji Maharaj’s “Annapurna Muhim” stepped in to fill the gap.
His initiative provided rapid, effective aid when all other doors had closed. The village Sarpanch expressed deep gratitude for the instant, abundant help, noting it solved their drainage issues for decades. This compassionate action rekindled hope in the desperate community, leading one villager to exclaim, “For us, Diwali has come today.”
This is merely a fraction of what a Tatvdarshi Sant can do.
